That squash looks soooooooo good.....
I am currently drying a dozen of the squashes, and all those peppers. The pepper plants are LOADED! I;m going to let the others get red though, so I just picked a few off the 3 cayenne plants tonight.

We need to find a truck driver with a regular Memphis-Cleveland run. We could have quite the exchange going on right now... :)

I miss the days of towing someone else or being towed, or pushed, or pulled.....NOT! Good squash harvest though and I bet everything will pick back up after the hailstorm. BTW bluegill is my favorite fish and makes a booty kickin sandwich after being deboned and with a little mayo. Makes me want to go fishing tomorrow!

Going fishing again this morning. I gotta go feed animals and get the cooler ready :D Hopes on catching a bunch today!! DD is SOOOOOO crispy from yesterday, yet off we go  Should be back by lunchtime though.

I forgot yesterday, I got a new deep fryer!! :weee :weee My cousin had a Wolfgang Puck Fryer she bought a while back and she didn't like it as well as she thought she would, and had only used it a couple times, so she gifted it to me :D Maybe we'll get enough fish today to warrant crankin it up

We got the torrential rain yesterday, but thankfully, no hail. It came down while we were set up at the Farmers' Market - my shoes were full of water before we could get everything loaded back up. Our tent folded in half - the wrong way - and the back of the van was full of water - yikes.

Anyway, I had a bushel of squash that didn't get a chance to sell - how do you dry them and how do you use them after they're dried?

Dh took 8 of the little round ones and scooped out the inside, chopped up some summer sausage with some onion, bread crumbs, and parm. cheese and stuffed those babies. He grilled them until tender. I cut a cabbage into 8ths, wrapped it into 4 foil packages with salt, pepper, and butter and popped that on the grill also. Very good supper. Drats I meant to get pictures.... Oh well, too late now.

I'm a blue gill lover too, btw....best pan fish around.
