Cindi, we all have times when we struggle w/the Bible. There are times when I wonder why bother to read and or study, as well as pray. But, those are the times we need it the most, whether we realize it or not. It would be easy to say I'm not going to do it today, but one day will turn into 2, then 3, then 4, then after awhile, we forget it altogether.

Thanks Deb, I agree, which is why I am rereadibg this afternoon.

Are you both reading straight through? Or sections? Just curious

Actually I am reading straight through again. Taking it slow, a few chapters a day. In Psalms now though, and has slowed down because if you read them any faster it seems they all say the same thing..

Well he did turn water into wine, but we aint the drinkin kind of folks round here..ew *used* to be, but not anymore

BACK FROM FISHIN! WHAT A DAY!!!! The catch:

so far since Sunday..except a couple tomatoes, and some peppers I have dried already..

AFTER we got home from fishing, hubs uncle that lives next door needed a ride to pick up his truck, so we took him to the next town over to get that, and stopped by mom's on the way home. Barely had time to cook our one little fishy for DD and let her eat! Anyway...brither was headed to work in the Lexus...to make a long long long story short I wound up jumping him off 4 times, matching bumpers and pushing him for about a mile, and taking his battery off and returning it, then returning to put it on so he could go to work. He was an hour late :/ It was HOT, DD and I are BURNED and the dang fish were hardly even biting...what. a. day. I am so tired I just fixed PB&J and fries for supper

Yeesh, just got out of a hail storm! I hope my squash and tomatoes are okay. We had a TON of dime size hail and 60mph wind gusts just now...well for the last 30 minutes or so. I et the dang corn has been blown down again *sigh* going to peek out the kitchen window and see if I can see it. The shed will block most of the view :/ We needed the rain though, so I guess it's a toss up as to whether it did us any good or not The lightning was GORGEOUS! we had a fireworks show going on with a strobe light for a bit

Well the squash plants, okra, and cukes all have a good bit of hail damage. I hope they perk back up and don't just keel over on me :/ Everything else seems to have done well, little to no damage at all.
