watered yesterday morning but did not get any other gardening done. today will be mowing but i have already pulled two weeds so there's that... :)

by the time i get done mowing it will likely be too hot and i'll be finished for the day other than checking on the birdbath (since i'll have to move the hose from one side to the other where we clean out the lawnmower).

looks like the thistles haven't grown too much since the last time we mowed. i still need to talk to the neighbors... time gets away from me.

i hope i can actually get some weeding done today... we'll see how it goes. :)

actually did get some weeding done today! :) :) :) also plugged up a groundhog hole and then to finish removed some poison ivy that Mom had told me about before but i wasn't sure where it was until she showed me. so that is now gone. based upon size of the vine i'd guess it was about 3 years old. which means the birdies deposited the seed not too long after those bushes were planted there...

I've actually looked at starting some seed for a fall garden 👍 spring one didn't happen but we are warm enough, late enough for cold weather plants to mature. So I'm thinking about getting some seed sprouting to pot up into plants. When they're a few inches high, I'll till and plant. I'll get some potting mix working this weekend, some little containers out, etc....while seeds get put onto wet paper towels to germinate. 🤞

I have gone over everything and every step- looked even in the fridge and trash----DH looked, they are here somewhere, but I cant find them

i know it's no fun, but have you looked on your head? sometimes in the past i've perched them up and then forgotten i'd done that... :)

also i suggest a slight change in habits in the future when when you take them off if you are in the house you always put them in the same spot in the room, like on the table or counter next to the sink or ... someplace where you're at frequently in that room.

i'm always taking mine off here when i read so they are on my futon when i am reading. i have a new thin comforter down which is not the same color as the one i've normally been using and my glasses blend in a lot more so i'm going to have to be more careful. i sure don't want to smush them any more than they've already been abused. i'm not easy on my glasses. i have to request industrial strength metal frames and even then i often end up having to solder them or invent some kind of repairs on the fly...

That's me. I lose stuff on my head. Or I 'lose' my phone while holding it up to my ear.
