Sounds yummy! DH is sick and had a jar of bean soup. I had leftover sourdough bread with melted cheese and fermented tomato salsa made with Italian herbs from the garden. A little different but good.
punkin, I knew you were from E. Tenn without even looking. Sounds like my kind of supper.punkin said:I'm ready for some stick to my ribs food.
So, tonight is beef sausage, pinto beans, corn, turnip greens, fried taters and cornbread.
Yum! Yum!
I have to say that was the best taco seasoning I've ever had. I have about 5-6 more dinner's worth in that jar of seasoning I made up last night...no weird ingredients either. I'm even thinking gifting a jar or two to some of my mates...or Sam's teacher's present. Thank you me&thegals!!Dace said:Oh...that taco seasoning sounds great! DH likes those nasty little taco seasoning packets form the grocery...I think they taste like dirt
This one looks like a keeper!
Taco salad is a great idea...I can have my taco in a salad and everyone else here can have the traditional version. Excellent!
Last night was left over smoked pork simmered in BBQ sauce, home made baked beans and BBH's apple cabbage slaw (which was really good!)
