I am having a nice big bowl of lentil soup with garlic bread. My dogs on the other hand, are having chicken with brown gravy and cranberry dressing. Did I ever mention they are spoiled?
Leftover turkey stew and a grilled-cheese sandwich with cheddar on sprouted grain bread. Tomorrow I will have to gorge on veggies to make up for this low-veggie day. Built a new goat stall in preparation for lots of kids in the spring and of course, ran into challenges due to inexperience and was out there late! Still have to go milk and it is after 8 PM. I usually try to milk by 9 PM. I feel a popcorn night coming on, and a lime vodka collins!
Tonight it is seafood gumbo, extra spicy b/c my daughter is at a friends. I was a good girl all day today so I get to have a slice of my homemade sourdough...slathered in butta baby!!
Yum! I ended up having fresh chocolate milk after I milked Mya, and gave the doggies some kefir. I bet the kefir is helping build Biscuit's immune system, too. I gave him about half a cup tonight.
The lime vodka collins will have to wait for another day. It is the juice of one lime, four droppers of liquid stevia extract, a shot of vodka, and fill the glass with ice water...at least a twelve ounce glass for me, sometimes 16 oz. Serve with a bowl of popcorn with sea salt and lots of butta, baby!
Hubby is not home tonight so kids will have homemade pizza and I am going to have Big ol' ( my new favorite term) plate of roasted asparagus and a small baked sweet potato with lots of butta baby! & plain yogurt.
I was just at the store and got some ground beef, for tacos & taco salad
I passed some mushrooms and thought of beef patties with sauteed shrooms with garlic and lots a butta...and a little yogurt!
So many great ideas floating around here!!
i'm roasting up another one of my $5 turkeys from the grocery wars! doing a half a breast on roasted veggies. but i already parted up that big sucker. got the thighs in the crockpot and the rest divided between two of my biggest stew pots for stock. gonna let them simmer all nite. whoot!
Noobie, our favorite ways to eat sweet taters is baked with just butter and sour cream or yogurt or sliced like fries, tossed with EVOO and seasoned with Cajun spices .
