No worse than usual. Of course, I don't do holiday decor at all :D

That helps!

No holiday mess left here either! Day after Christmas my little 3ft tree with a tiny string of lights and a couple of bulbs was GONE! Back in the attic it went. We don't do any other decorations,...actually I have been spring cleaning,..so when spring does come,..I am OUT of the house and enjoying the sunshine!!! So,..no train wrecks here. :D

Great idea. I spring clean in Feb since we're mostly snowed or colded in.

Growing up we got our tree on the 24th and it stayed til february.

We didn't even have a proper tree this year and I didn't get all the decorations out. Just enough to make it feel christmassy. We plan on getting it all put away this week. But our house is a wreck pretty much all the time. The only place that is save from moisture and rats is inside the house. So we have all sorts of strange things in the house that most people would keep in a barn or a garage.

I am trying to pretty things up though, since I am hosting DD's baby shower in a few weeks :ep

At least I HAVE to get all the crap off the kitchen counter!!!!

I started cleaning on Monday when the kids went back to school. Like I told my ds(messy room) cleaner room gives off a calm feeling. Messy rooms make me feel uncomfortable.

Mine is. But not because of the holidays. It's because I live with a 4 year old who is a little tornado. I can't keep up with her. At least she's starting to learn to clean up. DH was just saying last night sometimes he pauses to think about the day all the kids are out of the house. He'll take a week off work and just clean and organize. I had been thinking the exact same thing :D I love that man :love
And my kitchen is always in a state of use so I never have an empty sink or clear counters like I dream about. *wistful sigh* I took a picture of it clean once.

Well the big strapping hubby comes home and "SUPPOSEDLY" pulls that tree pole apart. I don't look. I cook dinner, we had a small cake for Tony's birthday....got preoccupied with all that mess....figure, will tape up the tree box in the morning and put in the closet.

Well I go over there this morning after Nicole left for school----and the pole is together. Too long for the box. WHAT IN THE HELL did he take apart? He said he did it????? what the????

come on ya know. give me a break. I saw him walk over behind the loveseat and did something with the tree pole ---what was it? it sure wasn't taking the damn thing apart?????

OMG I have tried twisting, pulling, freaking out on it and I can not get that pole apart. Going to text him in a sec and ask why it is still the same way I left it the other day???

I tell ya, you don't do something yourself it never gets done right!!!!!

ugh
