When I bought my brand new Kia several years ago the back seats went down and I don't think they've been back up since - and we have a big van, a small pick-up, and a dump truck. (How stupid is that when there's only 2 of us?). Oh well, goes along with having 2 tractors to work 2 acres. Anyway, to get back to my original tale before wandering of in old-timers land - I haul everything in the back of my car - chicken feed, chickens, hay, straw, my dog, plants, groceries - I even drive it to the back garden when I'm picking beans so I don't have to carry bushel baskets full back to the house. I once hauled it completely full of fire wood to my daughter in Knoxville. Got some weird looks that trip!

Oh, and I bought myself a little red wagon also. Hubby uses it more than I do!

We used to have little red wagons for the kids and they come in handy for lots of things! I'd love to have one here for gardening. My style is more turning Hubby's recycling junk into something useful. Your style probably "gets er done" better............

Tonight is a refrigerator cleaner dinner. We have leftover bbq chicken, cabbage that needs to be slawed, pickles, yellow squash that is begging to be fried in butter, and whatever else we find in there. :D

Just came home with some kale! It is chilly here, so it will be kale chips tonight, maybe as an appetizer before dinner. Hoping dh will fire up the grill if the rain holds out. I got some grass-fed beef to grind with some of the thick, irregular hunks of bacon that show up in all of our bacon packets that I have been saving up in the freezer for just such an occasion.....ooooo, this is gonna be good! :drool

Where is BBH lately?

As for Sally, I did "see" her on facebook last week, but that's about it. Maybe she was weeding the garden and the weeds kidnapped her?

My dad is going to xeriscape his yard! YAY! I even offered to help but he has a friend of a friend who does it professionally who is going to do it for them.

At least I offered right? Brownie points??
