What is it about politicians that make them suddenly think they're above any laws (or ethics)? He needs to be taken out behind the wood shed and blistered with some very strong switches - oh wait, he might like that.....

Duh, Helllooo...They are. Look at all the stuff they do that applies only to themselves. They get to raise their own pay. They get health care quite different from any of the people. They get to make laws that do NOT apply to them; only us. They get to have their interns behave in unusual ways in the oval office (including the use of cigars for purposes that do not elaboration here). They get to have their staffers "disappear" when it is convenient.

Need I go on? Were you born yesterday? They ARE above the law and everyone allows it to be that way. If you get elected to congress you get a pension for the rest of your life equal to your salary as a member of congress as long as you serve one day.

No, KCS you must be missing something here. Why would you ever think this is unusual? It has been going on for many years and no one in the United States of America has the courage to question it. So, you may ask, WHY is this allowed to continue? My answer is simple. The American people (those who stand to benefit the most from the largesse of these criminals) keep electing them. Heck, even senior airline pilots have a mandatory retirement age. How do these criminals stay in office when they are so infirm that they have to be "wheeled" into the house/senate chambers to they can actually be there at the age of over 90?

My suggestion to you is look at the truth and you'll be able to answer your own questions. Then you will, with the help of the thinking American Citizens begin to weep with anger while this abuse continues to occur. You bet this one is political...and it won't go away by just wishing it to go away. Use the power of the ballot and get this fixed. Then you won't be so incredulous at the reality of the truth.

Me thinks you missed my point.... I was being sarcastic. My eyes are wide open when it comes to these crooks and I very carefully choose who to vote for. My trouble is - there's no one there to vote for and when there is he/she is laughed right off the ballot. One group wants to give benefits to everyone for everything without any thought to funding. The other group wants to take benefits away from everyone (except themselves, of course) to try to balance the budget.

I worked hard my entire life for the privilege of collecting SS. It's mine - I worked for it. I do not feel like I'm getting a handout when that check comes in each month. But, the politicians want to cut SS. When are they going to cut all they pay to the welfare generations. Why should I take a cut so that illegal aliens can get benefits they didn't earn and don't even bother becoming a citizen to get.

Okay - rant's over - sorry WZ for messing up your musical interlude.

1. i want to bomb into the WFPL, tires squealin', belchin smoke, in my big F250 work truck with the NRA sticker in the window - straw flyin out the back, and ram that guy in his little itty bitty car, give him a red neck style beat down, and toss the crumpled up heap of his car into the bed of my truck so i can sell it later for scrap metal to pay for my gas to drive all the way there. then swagga into the meat section of the store and mock them openly for the bad quality, saying "yo homes, you got no fat on them pork chops.'

2. $80 for 6 items - thats about right.

3. i actually WROTE Humblolt Fog Cheese Co and begged them to tell me how to make their Humbolt Fog seein' as how i'm in a cheese wasteland (except for mine). altho they passed my email around their company and i heard from several people, they declined to pass along any trade secrets or the culture to make it.

thats all i'm sayin

now i gotta go find Little Mo.

The Saul Alinsky approach to dealing with competitors that you want to eliminate is make fun of them and discredit them in the public eye so they can't even stand a chance on the ballot. Watch those who do this and get away with it. Who, do you imagine, was a most faithful disciple of Saul Alinsky? Watch how that person deals with things like "The Tea Party" (he ignores them so they don't get his attention. Hmmm
Watch how the MSM deals with people the PTB don't like or want to discredit. You will see what I mean.

Frankly, we are singing the "SAME SONG" but the harmony notes while not the same come together beautifully. WZ agrees...she is a LIBERTARIAN too!
