  :gig

I am laughing but it is not at you it is with you. You just nailed the chaos of life on the head! :thumbsup

I am SO glad I live alone!! Well practically. Roommie rarely leaves his room.

Auntie, stop by to can with me any time ;) It was as chaos free as a kitchen gets. Amira often sits on the freezer and watches. Otherwise she stays outta the way. I tend to fling hot burning things when I have seizures in the kitchen so she has long since learned to stay out of the way. Even Pudding has learned that. I think Roommie has too, actually. He scuttles away.

Your kitchen is too tiny! And Amira gets mad at me when I put things on HER walkways....and with Amira, any surface is her walkway! LOL

Found a nice love seat at Goodwill last night for $24. The best part is NO LOOSE CUSHIONS!!! Max has this thing about cushions and pillows. He tends to toss them on the floor for no apparent reason. Then Cookie, our senile 4million year old cat, thinks it is her job to pee on them :somad

the chair I just bought is all one piece. Nothing to throw on the floor and ruin! Now to figure out how to get the old chair in to son's room through a narrow hallway. Hmmmm.....

We took off the stumpy little legs on the old chair to make it fit through the hallway. Didn't even bother to put them back on. With the bottom of the chair sitting on the floor, there is less chance of Max popping springs through the bottom. He already popped one!

And since we changed his room, and he is autistic, and prime autistic rule #6 is ALL CHANGE IS BAD, Max did not sleep. He kept getting up and was bouncing off the walls. He had also been sleeping on a matress on the floor but it was trashed. So we took the bed out of his brother's room and put that in his room. It WAS on risers. At 1:00 am I hear * THUD * followed by a loud scream. Max had somehow knocked the bed off the risers. These risers fit so snug in to the posts i have no clue how he managed that.

I just took all the risers off, gave Max a sleeping pill, grabbed a blanket and camped on the couch. Took him another 2-3 hours to finally pass out. I caught up on my episodes of Robot Chicken :p. And of course I already told a gf I would pick her up and go to the farmers market this morning. I will try to get in a power nap before I go get abi and drive up to see Matt and CJ to get ducks.

It's going to be a busy day. I had hoped to get caught up on laundry, but that might not happen. Arg!
