Yeh. For the type of job, it is really fantastic. Great sups, like my coworkers, work from home, not too many yellers... but phones are stressful and sitting hurts. :tongue

Oh well. Halfway through today. I think it is the thought that this is all there is that is especially fatiguing. No raises. No paid vacation. No benes. Just plod plod plod. :hit

Also the weather has me achy and i would rather be learning to cook or sew than sitting here bored lol. Whine whine whine! At least I have a job though. Cannot find anything cna right now. Not that I could live on...
Hang in there, after all my years, I sometime feel the same way!

I did get through all the The IT Crowd episodes on netflix. :)

Yes. Those really do help ease the pain! :gig

Mostly my brain is on design not IT. It is distracting.

I accidentally *laughs* went to Dharma Trading Co and went through dye sets. I really want to learn to dye my fabric and then to learn to pattern and then to do really careful sewing and nice techniques.

Kits are cheaper than buying all the supplies, at least.

I want to do too many things lol!! The main thing with dyeing is space. So I'll practice small and if I get good enough to do it seriously, I guess I'll have to figure out workspace at that point. But that could be years away :)

I downloaded and printed the fashion templates... Suddenly my patterns look amazing!! I knew it was all me and my lack of proportions ability hahaha!

anyone know how to make hats? Just like wide brimmed straw ones? I have patterns for things like newsboys hats, but I need to make a head dummy to fit fedoras. I have a website on how to do it.

Not sure fashionista is self sufficient, but golly it's fun. *laughs*

:th I have roaches in my coffee maker!!! EWWWWW! :sick

I blame the kindly folk here who got me to quit drinking it so they had time to set up house.

Mostly I blame my neighbors who are constantly bug bombing. I won't put down any poisons that my cats can step into. LOL! Time to put borax, flour, sugar mix under the stove.

On the plus side... guess who is getting a french press!?!

Roaches? :sick

I should cut back on coffee, I just can't, I like the taste in the morning (and anytime during the day....)

I think I'm going to shuffle off to make some mint tea.

roaches, that's why I hated apartment/condo living.......bleh...

Yeh. I don't like apartments but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Damn neighbor keeps bombing. She has a little kid too. Yech. But every time she bombs we have three upset tummies here and more roaches lol, but a roach is cleaner than the human hand. And i rarely see them. So i don't care too much. But residence in the coffee maker means nesting and that is an issue.

Maybe I can rent a tiny house if I ever get another job....

Also... our roaches are tiny and dry. One inch brown critters. At their biggest.

They're probably immature. Baby roaches look pretty much like adult roaches, they're just smaller. There are some differences, but w/out looking them up, I'm not sure what all they are. And, I'm not sure how many stages, or instars roaches go thru.
