So did I post about my new shirts? I have a bunch of tops that are sleeveless, shirred at the bust. But my bust is too big now and I cannot go braless lol.

So I flipped them upside down. The shirring is the waist, and i cut the now-top was-botton into a top. ie: chopped out arm holes and neck hole and finished it nicely. lol.

ta da!!!!!

I still need more things with sleeves since my shoulders aren't used to the sun enough yet. My arms don't burn, nor my face. That's what my boy shirts are for though Hide my delicate skin so I stay all gorgeous.

I am full of sushi, mostly sashimi but I did have 2 with rice and a mochi ice cream bwahahaha! I've been careful for two days, knowing I'd carb it.

My first upside-down-shirt was a huge success. I have two more to get done tonight and hopefully get the muslin done for the black dress, at last.

I got to show off my food stores to my dad. He was pretty pleased about it.

I also had fun shooting! I hit the target and everything!!! (First time shooting a pistol since I was little.)

I asked my dad point blank why school never called him to tell him I was never there and he said it was baffling. Maybe they called my mom and she was too drunk to care? He said I wasn't impossible to raise, I was a joy. I said, apparently that's because the school never told you I wandered off and burned things. He said that was likely it; at least I was a joy at home. *laughing*

Oh yeh! And I traced one of the fashion templates for my mom this morning (we stop for coffee and breakfast at a local shop every Saturday before running errands) and she's hooked LOL! She wants to learn to pattern. She gave me oodles of goodies. Now I only need 4 things to do my drafting: french curve, flexible ruler, clear graphed ruler with a square edge, and a dummy.

I don't know where to find one!!! He's all sweet and old fashioned and opens the car door for girls and closes it once they are in... I guess I need to keep in the SCA. Boys are chivalrous there.
