Do you have enough room to get a beef? I friend of mine is raising a Dexter bull for beef - smallest "fullsize" breed, if I remember right.

Want my broody buff bantee brahma? (Like all the B"s??)

Every morning she would run and sit on some egg laid by who knows for an entire month, all day, and it was frozen too!! My girls started laying and likes her nest (there are fights about, ok I have huge brahmas trying to squeeze into a bantee next) so she stopped brooding :(

I'd also winterize your coop next year :) I use regular pine shavings (ill check if hay is ok) and it *says* to just fluff and then add fresh on top, this will keep your hens warm. I've had luck just fluffing and turning over, but we don't freeze here.

The ice missed us last night, snow maybe tomorrow afternoon. I'll be honest, I'm not familiar with the songbook.

Is it tied to a particular denomination?
