Bee, glad to hear about the turn in weather. When our 90* summer broke here, I started feeling less cranky immediately! Glad to hear your spirit is renewed as well.

The mini spa day sounds like a hoot! I'm sure you'll have a ball! I can't wait to hear about it.

Oh, all of that girly stuff sounds heavenly. I don't treat myself with that kind of thing any more. Can't justify the money. But at your prices I would stay all day!! :D

Good to hear your spirit is on the mend. I bet you sure made those sheep happy allowing them to tend your garden!!

have a great week!!

They did and immediately started to fatten up and fill in the spaces. My Mo was starting to need it a little as her fat little lamb isn't so little anymore and is draining her like a syphon every time she stands still!!! :barnie

He is so beautiful! :love

It was good to see them neck deep in the clover and weeds, making things smooth once again. I love this time of year...that waiting moment at the end of summer. Like everything is trying to enjoy the last of the warmth before the frosty mornings kills the more tender leaves.

Fall is coming! And I have a HUGE crop of apples....go figure! No water all spring and summer and the apples are hanging in wads and are huge!

Guess we will be eating a lot of appley things this winter instead of all the produce I had planned.

Bubba Blue says, "...apple turnovers, apple crisp, fried apples, stewed apples, baked apples, apple sandwiches, apple sauce, apple butter....."

My family knows everything there is to know 'bout the apple bidness....

That's all I'm gonna say about that.

I'm going to partake as well....I've only ever had one manicure in my life and it was quite crappy....and expensive! Same with the pedi....too expensive and not well done.

I think, if we are crappy at this, at least folks won't feel ripped off! :D

I finally had my first pedicure just last month! I think it is a great idea Bee! Who doesn't like to be pampered once in a while? It will be a wonderful day, and something totally different from the norm.
It's been really cloudy here the last two weeks, I know how you've been feeling..I need my vitaminD!

Tonight I went out to the garage, sat on the milking stand, and gave myself a pedicure using the sureform (that is next to the stand for trimming goat's hooves) on my cracked heels...... The pumice stone in the shower just wasn't enough!

Well...true to form...my boss squashed the Spa Day idea...it has been cancelled.

She didn't come up with the idea, she didn't have any part in controlling it, wouldn't get any credit for it....therefore, like other great ideas she never had, it has been killed aborning.

Poor thing is constantly cutting off her nose to spite her face.... :/

Too bad....I was really looking forward to having some girl fun. :(

I've been looking up Western Caribbean Cruises....they have some really great deals right now at Carnival. I need a break, I need some fun, I need some sky blue water, good food, luxury....I need to get away!!!!! :p

I found an 8 day cruise for $409 per person....anyone game for a girly cruise? :D

Ohhhh! that sounds so fun, but I am deathly afraid of big water:>) I'd be like a cat in a dryer the whole trip...
I'm sorry your boss squashed the spa idea, it would have been awesome!
