Meh, the little waving guy did a terrible job cleaning up the cofee that I spewed on the screen, so I had to do it myself!

Mom left a little while ago. We had a great visit, took a quick walk around the yard to show her how well everything was looking, went to WalMart and the $$$ Store for gardening supplies. Came home and ate the tuna subs she brought with her for lunch.

If I would have had the extra money, I would have bought an animated cow bank and told doc that since you said 'no' to the goats, I bought a cow instead...just to see the look on his face! :gig I'm so glad he puts up with me!

It's 89 degrees right now...hello? :th

I'm not sure how hot it got today, but I felt like either digging out my shorts, or turning on the AC. Instead, I suffered thru it. It would have scared too many people if I had put on the shorts (I need to shave big time!), and I'm trying to keep the electric bill down, so that meant no AC.

I'm glad has been working days through this spring heat wave (and it's not officially spring YET!) because we'd have probably turned on the AC if he had to sleep during the day so he could go to work at night...in March??? :th

The girls gave me 6 eggs yesterday so as a reward, I let them out to range for about an hour before it started to get dark and they all went up in the coop to roost.

Stray cat is still coming around in the evening...trying so hard not to name him, just in case.

Plan on getting more seeds started later and if it's not too windy, I want to check on the ginseng beds and see if anything has sprouted yet. It's still early so I won't be too bummed if I don't see anything. Want to get my Elephant Ear bulbs planted, too. Had typed it as "want to get my EE's planted" but didn't want y'all to think I was burying half of my hens alive! :gig

Well, gonna call it a day and be up early again!

:hide I'll never tell!

Chance of t-storms here today and the stinging meanies are very attitudal, so I'm in hiding...again! One has managed to sneak its way into the shed so I'm not messing with seeds just yet.

Got my kefir cheese that I can mess with here shortly but right now, I have the place tore up in a hunt for a couple of my smaller gardening books. Oh well, at least I'm getting some much needed cleaning accomplished! :D
