I'm feeling a bit better this morning, but am not planning on doing too much, basically just what I have to. I got up when my hubby did, got the trash out, got the fire going, read some more of Luke, and went back to bed. When I get out to the farm, once I have the horses fed, I'll probably fall asleep out there. I do have to do some wood, but probably won't get much more than that done today. And, I'll probably miss prayer meeting tonight. Even if I'm feeling better, I don't want to maybe give this to someone else.

You know the crock pot is like...my favorite gift to give. I got each of my girl's one when they went off to school. I work with high school students so I buy them a crock pot when they graduate. It is hands down the perfect gift.

I also wanted to get him a Foreman grill, but didn't have time. Maybe next year...

I'm feeling better today, basically I have no energy. I didn't even leave to go to the farm until after 12:00! That's unheard of for me, so you know I didn't feel good. I got the horses fed. And, once again, there was an egg under Honey's bucket! So, I went from getting no eggs to getting 4 so far this month. Come the beginning of March, I'm going to get some in the incubator-even if they're only Roxi's. She lays the biggest eggs, and I'm hoping to get some more hens that lay that size.

The rain is over-for now, so now we're dealing w/wind instead. The wind is so strong that it blew opened a door on both RU's trailer, and one on a trailer that belongs to the boarder that's never here. And, it broke hinges on both doors. RU was already having trouble w/her door-it wouldn't stay closed to begin with, so she was using a bungee cord. Well, the bungee cord broke. I found one more and jerry rigged it closed, then put a 4x4 against the door as well. I was able to just close the door on the other trailer. Then, I walked out in the neighbor's field, almost all the way to their driveway to pick up a tarp that had blown over there. My fence charger has a solar panel that you can adjust the angle. The panel was laying flat, so I put that back how I had it. The horses were really low on hay. And, while they may have had enough to last until tomorrow, it's supposed to get cold tonight. So, I was able to roll one of the RBs out of my trailer. Then, RU came over w/the tractor, and put it out in my field.

By the time that was all done, I was beat. I had some riding helmets on my cot and a couple of other things. I decided I'd clear them off, shake off my sleeping bag (it had some dirt on it from the cats), and take a nap. I removed the sleeping bag only to find that the bottom of it and the air mattress were wet! Apparently, I have a leak in my roof. I'm pretty sure I know where it is, but it was too windy to get up on the roof to check. I'll probably do that on Friday since it's supposed to be calm, and I know other people will be around. Instead, I just fed Stormy and went home.

And, all I did today was put out the trash, feed the animals and do some wood.

In just a few, I'm going to go and heat up some soup. I'll check and make sure my hubby has clothes for tomorrow, and that's all I'm doing today. Hopefully, I'll feel better tomorrow. It's still going to be cold and windy, so hopefully, that will help my field dry out. Once again, it's too wet to really do anything.

We have the small grill. And, the problem I have w/it is you can't remove the grills for cleaning them. It's very hard to clean it. But, I'd love to have one that has the removable grills. It would get used a lot! (Especially if my hubby wasn't home since I like steak more than he does!)

That sounds like a heck of a lot to get done while not feeling well! Goodness!
We've had that cold and wind that moved in after the rain, and it is not appealing. This is the time I am content to have an office job, as much as I dislike it, LOL

I only worked for about 3 hours today, for me, that's not much. But by tomorrow, I should be able to do almost a full days work, and by Friday, I should be back to normal.

We got one like that. I hated the cleaning and DH thought it was 'too small for his appetite' so we gave it away.

Right now, I'm not buying anything! Maybe I'll get one for my hubby for his birthday, or tell him to get me one next year for Christmas.

I'm feeling pretty much normal right now. And of course, no one did any dishes while I was sick. What are they going to do when I have my operation? It looks like today is going to be spent getting dishes and laundry caught up as well as firewood.
