I'm not too worried about the electric bill. We have budget billing, and I've been getting the bill down lower all the time, so one cold week won't completely wreck it.

And, I'm tired of bundling up in blankets, etc just to stay warm in my own house. :/

If it's in the 40s, as long as the wind isn't blowing, I turn off all the heaters. The wood stove is plenty! But, getting the house warmer like I did definitely paid off. It was 56 in the bedroom when I got up, and 62 in the rest of the house. That's better than 50 and 58! Today is supposed to be slightly warmer, but the wind is going to be blowing again. Then tomorrow, they're calling for a high in the 30s and by mid week, in the 50s!

Getting the house warm last night definitely paid off. I thought last night was warmer because it wasn't as cold in the house this morning. Well, I was wrong! I think it was the coldest night yet! It was only around 7*! :th But, it did get up to around 30* this afternoon. The bunnies water wasn't frozen solid when I went checked on them this afternoon. So, it was much easier to dump it and give them fresh.

I didn't get much of the wood done today. PT is away. KN was supposed to feed my horses this morning. Well, she called up early. They only have 1 car and her hubby never told her that he needed it all day today. So, not only did I have to go out to feed after all, but I also had to feed extra horses. I'll be so glad when I can finally get my own place. It shot my day-especially since hubby decided to go w/me. It was late when we left, and then he had all these stores he wanted to go to. I didn't have any desire to go, but since I have stuff I want him to do tomorrow, I figured it was better to go and not complain. Hopefully, the weather will be nice on Monday and I can get all of that wood cut up so I can get more.

Yeah, but it's pretty much over. By mid week, we'll be close to 60! But, they're calling for rain. I hope they're wrong. I want to ride my bike. I save so much money riding it instead of the truck. But, when it's this cold out, it's too cold to ride.

OK, they were wrong last night. It was only supposed to go in the teens. It got down to 6*! :barnie And, since hubby kept me out most of yesterday, I'm going to have to do my wood this afternoon since they're calling for rain tomorrow. :hit
