I have to embellish my boring stories with descriptive license, to even come close to ya'lls gals daily dramas, and i get accused of "cliffhangers"!
You all know who ya'll are! Shame on you!

SD, I think the problem may be that I had too much caffeine. It's been so stinking hot here that I've been drinking a lot of iced tea, like 1/2 a gallon or so a day. Normally, the caffeine in tea doesn't bother me. But then again, I don't normally drink that much of it. Guess I have to go back to water, or start making decafe. Other than that, I haven't eaten nor drunk anything unusual.

As for the banana, I hadn't had anything to eat, and started to get really hungry, to the point of having my sugar drop. The only thing we had that I could eat quick was a banana, so I ate one. I didn't have much for dinner last night, just a pork chop. Neither my hubby nor I were up to making dinner. I have GOT to get some meals made up and canned so that if we can't cook for some reason or another, we don't go hungry. I am feeling better today, but will probably take it easy as much as possible. It is supposed to cool down later in the week, so that will hopefully help me.

I'm kind of discouraged today. It's day 21 for my eggs. And there's not a pip nor a peep. :( I'll give them a couple more days, then if I don't get any, I'll have to try again. It doesn't help that all last night I was dreaming about the chicks hatching.

You and me both!

Oh, and I've decided eventually I want some scovies. I was going out to the farm today and noticed someone had thrown out one of those turtle sandboxes. So, on my way back, I stopped and checked to be sure it was still good. It was, so it's now in the back of my truck. Duck pond!

My MIL has the vertigo.

stops her in her tracks, sometimes for 2-3 days

she tried it all....dr. gave her some meds even....but when that attack hits there is nothing she can do. it drives her nutso, but again, she is caught without a cure.

she can sure feel it coming. she bends over in the garden one day with me and nicole and we were just goofing around cleaning up weeds etc...and she dang near fell over bent over. that fast it hits.

some days she knows to stop and lay down fast and she can avoid the episode a bit....most times she can't. and you never know when it is going to hit.

tough situation to deal with in life.

:hugs and hope today is a better day.

I think we all have days where situations intervene that keep us from accomplishing what we wanted to/needed to get done. I feel frustrated as well, but in my case it's not usually health-related unless it's allergy season--which can keep me indoors and super frustrated for a week or two on end.

I have had dizzy spells a couple of times in my life, where everything started to go black and I felt super dizzy and nauseous and had to lie down right where I was (once on the floor because I just couldn't move to anywhere else)--is that vertigo? How awful for those of you who get it often! Each time I had it, it took several hours to feel right again (I think I feel asleep for a few hours as well).

FC, that is exactly how I am, you just described me, are you my DIL? Just kidding my son isn't married. But that is me.

moolie with the kind of vertigo DD and I have, you WISH practically that you would pass out but unfortunately you feel every spin. Do you get any warning Deb? sometimes I do and sometimes I don't, I used to always have a weird feeling beforehand but don't anymore.

Ugh, at least I could eventually go to sleep. Haven't had it for a long while, but I do occasionally get mild dizzy spells that go away if I sit down quiet for a few minutes.

:hugs to you both, and Deb I hope you are feeling better today. :)

Sometimes, I can feel it coming on. But, yesterday I had no warning. It just hit. Looking back over what I've eaten for the past few days, I'm now wondering if it's the wings I got. I haven't had any in years, haven't found a place that makes any I like. But we got take outs Thursday night, and I decided to try them. And they were good! But not only did I get dizzy, but my IBS is also flaring. So I'm thinking the wings might just be the culprit. We have not evening church service today, and I'm glad. I was able to fight off an attack this morning while I was playing the piano, but my stomach hurt all thru Sunday School and church. It feels good to be home. I'm probably going to go to sleep for awhile.

Oh, I hate it when you are in the middle of something important when it happens, I'm glad you were able to make it through your piano bit. I hate having to hold it together so much. :sick It just spoils things. Maybe the wings were too salty in combo with the caffeinated tea. Your cup got too full.
