These are not my "best" neighbors even though she and I used to be besties...used to travel to goat shows together and talked every day. She got a new husband and things went downhill.... Not to get too explicit, but the new husband ... ahem... let's just say he'd like to be a little friendlier than he should be. Several times he mentioned it and I made the mistake of trying to be nice about saying no. I shouldn't have because he kept it up. I told my DH and he wanted to commit murder!

But, I finally got him back- I saw him in Wally World, DH was with me, and I blasted that man right out in public - right in front of my DH who got in a few words too. It was high drama, lol. But, because I hate high drama I told him I'd forgive him in an effort to maintain neighborly relations (and not tell his wife) but that if it ever happened again not only would I inform her, that I would file harassment charges against him. He's been on his best behavior since then. It's really sad that I've lost my friendship with her because I don't want to be with in a 100 yds of him!

Sooooo, in light of all that, I'd like Cowboy to go ANYwhere but their yard!

Crazy stuff. I told my co-workers that I'm a 60+ year old fluffy woman - I shouldn't have to tolerate that mess at this stage of my life!

But, a couple days ago she stuck her head over the fence to see the babies. We had a nice talk - she and I can still be friendly. But, then she had to call "HIM" over to see the babies...ugh. And, I had to pretend to be nice. :he

Yep....sigh.

Hope DH is getting that fence finished! I wonder if I should go home - cough, cough - and help him? Or, if I should let him work this out on his own?

Let's see if he can do it!

And.... I came home and fixed the fence, lol. Cowboy was in the back yard with Gracie. He loves Gracie so he usually will stay where she is. I haven't let him out of the backyard yet cuz I need to figure out where he's getting IN to the buck pen so that he can get OUT on the other side. I did the repair with a stock panel, but the buck pen is almost ALL stock panels. The only place that wasn't is one small section that is next to the neighbors yard. So he had to go over a stock panel to get into the buck pen. So, why do I think putting up another stock panel will stop him from going out? I dunno... it was all I had.

Then DH said the wrong thing. Something like.... that dog needs to go live somewhere else.... HUH? I don't know about that! I don't think it's right to just get rid of the dog because he's smarter than we are lol! Ok, maybe not smarter - but a whole lot more athletic for sure! He got put in the kennel today for at least an hour before he went over the top of it. Six feet and he went over. I'm seriously afraid he's going to hurt himself doing all that jumping. Okay, maybe not the jumping that will hurt him - but a 100+ dog landing from a six foot jump? That's gotta hurt!

That's kind of impressive... And also irritating. Can you do like a 7 ft hotwire? Sheesh that seems excessive! Oh, Cowboy...
