My hens are eating way too well lately.
Dosn't anyone put the leftovers in the fridge anymore? Seems very wasteful giving good food to chickens when you can just eat it later.
Nope you are the only one. :p

My rule is leftovers have to be eaten the next day. I don't like them hanging around in the fridge getting hairy. (Unless I freeze them.)

Mmm kay,

Breakfast:
bacon
avocados
water

Lunch:
salad
(and Sam had some nitrate free sausage)
water

Dinner:
grilled chicken
steamed brussel sprouts
water

I'm having one of those "not hungry at all days".

Things I'm noticing lately:
My blemishes have finally cleared up.
My hands and feet are freezing.
I can't get warm--today or yesterday.

edited b/c I changed our dinner menu. :D

I was joking with you, hence the smilie with the tongue sticking out.

I don't know what your beef is, I told you that we eat our leftovers the next day...which I also have stated in the daily menus I've listed on this thread. I don't think any of us here are wasters as you have implyed--this is a forum about living as sustainably as you can.

And giving chickens leftovers isn't a crime. I've done it many times. They use it to help make me more healthy eggs.

Eggs the next day don't seem appetizing, esp since I didn't like them. Chickies mainly get hubbys leftovers as he WILL NOT eat leftovers and I don't like what he eats.

Ok, in a rut food wise.

Breakfast was leftover coconut-blueberry pancakes and a glass of milk.

Don't know what to eat for dinner.

Yeah, I get in those too. :/ Tonight's meal was pretty lame and lackluster.

I did find a dark chocolate bar with these ingredients: evaporated cane juice, natural chocolate liquor and non dairy cocoa butter. We broke it into one inch squares for dessert tonight. One square each. That helped wash down a so-so dinner. :D It is made by "boom choco boom". OH MAMA was it good!!

The funny thing is I'm just not hungry today (happened before) I forced myself to eat all day...not a lot, just enough to keep me afloat.

Grazed on blueberries off and on, but not many.

Interesting! How did you use the brazil flour? I bought a big bag of brazil nuts at the market to soak and turn into stuff.

Breakfast:
bacon and eggs
water

Lunch:
butternut squash
water

Dinner plans:
carne asada biggy salad (been craving Mexican food!)
tequila ;) just kidding--that is for later :p

Snack: butternut squash brownies and an apple

Ohh!! Butternut squash brownie recipe please!

Not yet, brazil nuts are so oily that I need to experiemnt a bit. I bought cocoa, chocolate and cheap TJs eggs tonight.

Breakfast was almond butter pancakes

Lunch was from TJs, it was pouring cats & dogs so I didn't drive home for lunch.

Dinner will be deviled eggs, might sneak a almond butter pancake from hubby.
