I actually do somewhere. When I was posting progress over on BYC people were asking like crazy. At one point Strombergs was selling the kits. I am hesitant to make promises any more but I will try to locate the plans I scanned and send them as an attachment.
It's been up for two years; we're just finally finishing it up!
Don't go to any trouble for me. Like I said, DH will never build me one. But then again, if I tie him up and throw him in a closet maybe I can find someone else to build it for me. I would build it myself but I ain't as young as I use to be. LOL

I hear ya there. All I did was paint the darn thing yesterday and my legs were killing me today.

I could always ask the neighbors who own the woods behind us if they'd like some clearing done. They're the ones who might be bothered most by the goats.

Well, today was Little League Opening Day. All baseball, all day!
We started with pictures at 9:30. We could have come for the pancake breakfast but since they won't substitute extra bacon for the pancakes DS and I can't eat, we skipped that. Pictures ran over half an hour behind schedule. When we were down we did the walk-a-thon. DS raised $200! We walked a loop around town, similar to the "Walk for Warmth" I did this winter. I almost didn't finish then, I was in such bad health. I did fine today :D  Phew!
Then we went home for about 45 minutes, let the dogs out, refilled our water bottles, ate a quick lunch and headed back for the opening ceremony. When that was done we had just about an hour before DS's game. We headed to Home Depot for more strawberry plants and trim paint for the BARN. We chose barn red, go figure! I had enough time to plant the strawberries in a topsy-turvy planter, water them and head back out. I was official Dug-out Mom for the game. Our team is short on coaches. Sigh, it always happens this way it seems. I really like the guys who set up the teams. I know a lot of them from Cub Scouts. But I can't help feeling like they arrange things to suit their personal preferences. They did do a fair job of placing kids on teams. We held our own against the director's own team. But he has two great assistant coaches and we have our coach's brother who wasn't there. So it was the head coach on the field and me in the dug out. I can handle that. But I can't teach them skills. In that respect it isn't fair. I will have an opportunity to let the director know how I feel at least.
DS played great, got on base twice, and made two awesome plays in the infield.
It was hot and humid. We're not used to it yet. I'm grubby and sunburned and I still have laundry to do, lunches to make, lesson plans for students and planning for tomorrow night's Cub Scout meeting. And all I want to do is take a shower and go to bed. And paint the trim on the BARN.

Waiting for the Little League coach to call and cancel our game. We're expecting thunderstorms. But apparently the man doesn't look at forecasts and is waiting until the last minute??? grrr. If I knew we weren't going to try to get the game in I could do other things. Sigh.

Good luck with the game....I hate a last minute change of plans!

Cute pics of your DS :) mine is 14 now and taller than me.... but those pic bring back a lot of great memories (even though I find watching baseball about as entertaining as watching paint dry  )

Well, the weather cleared and we got the game in. Oh how I wish I could sit and watch the game. We got stuck on the team with no assistant coaches so I am official dug-out mom. I didn't think it was going to be too bad after Sunday's game. Ha! They must have been tired Sunday. There were animals tonight. I had to use the "teacher voice" several times. Oh well. The coach's son is the worst. He poured water in another players hat among other ridiculous stunts. Ugh. 11 more games I think.
So, no more paint on the barn. I really just want to get some red on the door to see how it looks with the green. And we haven't had a chance to pick up the fence we're buying from DH's coworker. Too much to do!!

Yeah, well you also saw Mya having triplets... :tongue
We're picking up the fence after school today. DH wants me to see it before he commits to it but DS has a dentist appt. at 4. We should be able to get it after that and still have time to pick up posts at TSC. Our baseball game is at 11 on Saturday so we'll have some morning work time and lots after! Other than buying my mom a Mother's Day gift Saturday can be devoted to fencing. And goat supply shopping. :ya
How's that baby this morning?? Haven't gotten to your thread yet.
