Eek! Just catching up here myself. What is it about boys that makes them so proud of their scars? DH fell off his bike as a kid (NOT wearing a helmet) and cut a big gash in his forehead. When he was going back over the rules for the kids and wearing helmets, he pointed the scar out to them and said "Something like this or even worse could happen if you fell off." DD said "Ewww, yes sir, no problem!" DS on the other hand, said "Coooool scar!" :p

Tell Mr. Hen23 congrats!! Woo hoo!!

Phew! We got lucky! We had rain for a couple of hours this morning, while our group had swimming and fishing haha! No thunder or lightening so they swam and fished. Then the sun came out and stayed out!! DS passed his swim test too. He made the blue zone. He's improved a lot this summer. We left after swimming to go get his stitches out. He missed BB guns and fishing. He'll be able to catch up in BB tomorrow and still get his belt loop requirements done. Stitches are gone. He was brave but it hurt. It wasn't our regular doctor but the doc we saw was really great with him, asking him questions about camp and sharing some of the things he did in camp when he was a Scout and we got through it. We got back just in time for archery. We stayed for dinner (DH brought what I had made for DS and I) and had a camp fire and did skits. We are all exhausted going into our last day but we've had a great week. Our whiny boy was so bad today that we had to talk to the director about him. He got so bad that he was ruining things for everyone. They dealt with it while I was gone with DS. He was better in the afternoon.
We got home and I went through the mail to find DS's most recent blood test results. Everything she rechecked is looking better AND..... drum roll.......... can you guess????

The blood test showed HE'S NOT ALLERGIC TO GOAT'S MILK!!!!!!!!!! :woot:weee

We'll still take it slow but this could be great! String cheese, ice milk, yogurt :ya
He wanted to go hug Donki. :love So did I!
Lunches to make then off to bed.

Whoa! I'm not entirely sure but I think I'm hearing coyotes. Ducks out. Not good. No ducklings yet. I think today should have been day 28 but I'll have to check back. I could be off by a full week.

ETA: I am off. It's only day 21.

:fl Blood work is good, he did okay on a trial. We'll slowly start giving him some everyday and watch. But it's looking good! He had problems last night with his BM again. Too many juice pouches at camp. They're corn syrup free but high in sugar. I kept him to one in the morning and one in the afternoon today (he managed to have 4 yesterday without me knowing) and he was better.

We have that indulging problem at Grandparent's and Aunties house. They are allowed 1 for the day. They usually follow the rules. It has taken me years to get grandma to put up the candy dish. :he

I'm hoping he makes the connection himself so he can learn moderation. :/

Great news all around Hen! My niece is violently allergic to milk but I can't get them to look into raw milk or goat's milk. Maybe I need to procure a goat and THEN try to convince them ;)
