Yowza. :( I was just telling someone today that every pregnant client that I have had over the years has had serious fertility issues. It doesn't seem fair, does it?

DH suggested we go to Chipotles next Saturday after school. I reminded him that we have the congregation picnic...so I suggested we meet you the following week there....he liked that! Can you? West Hartford? You know you have to park like a mile away....that will guarantee rain, which we need so badly! :p

I think so, let's plan on it and hope nothing comes up...if so, there will be more Saturdays! It should be fine, though. Remind me to bring kombucha and kefir grains!!!

As for fertility issues, it doesn't show, so I think many people are unaware of how common it is...

Very common indeed. I even had a HS senior last year who confessed to wanting to be pregnant to please her boyfriend (don't get me started. This girl has huge problems...) and couldn't get pregnant....
I've got it on the calendar. Kefir/scobie day! :weee

First she must be eight months. Then she must be 80 lbs. Then you decide when you'd like kids....and bring her on over! She can stay right with Dorian for 45 days, which will bring her through two cycles. I think that will likely be the best way, since you don't know her heat cycles, and it would be really stinky if she went into heat just as you are heading off to work in the morning, or going to bed at night. Their heats can be very short.

If you were closer, I'd give you a rag rubbed on Dorian in a jar and you'd let her sniff it every day and watch her reaction. She may flag at Thomas....if you see that, write it on the calendar and keep track. She may end up being predictable, and this could be easy. Watch to see if she turns and presents her rear to Thomas and pees. Tell your guys to watch for this behavior, too. Ginger's heats lasted only a few hours last fall, but the pygmies are major hussies. They seem like they are in heat most of the time! Mya gives me a whole day or more. I haven't seen signs of heats from the doelings yet, but Dorian is not super-bucky yet. Starting to smell and pee, but not too bad. The chilly weather may stimulate more of that.

She's just 6 months now so we've got 2 to go. No signs of anything yet. Thomas is still just her opponent in King of the Big Rock. She wins most of the time. I'll watch. Not sure how I'll explain to DS what he should be looking for..... could be an interesting conversation at Catholic School. "My mom told me to watch our Daisy for signs like sticking her...... " I dread that call from Sister!

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I was ready to go to bed a half hour ago. But no, I'm up waiting to "hear" if our budget passes. 5th try. This is nuts. Our town could not care less about the education of its children. Disgusting. They have cut so much. We are at a point that teachers have to buy their own copy paper. I'm hanging out on Facebook because one of my friends is on the BOE and I'm hoping she'll post results soon. The polls closed 30 minutes ago. Ugh. School itself is great. The politics stink!
