I've known my SIL longer than I've known my hubby, and she STILL can't remember that I can't drink caffeinated coffee, so I know how you feel.
Now, if I went and forgot that she doesn't eat poultry, I'd hear about it for a month! Oh well! At least I've learned to have snacks in the car to sneak out and eat....

Not on this forum! That is veggies, eggs, and dairy. A perfect breakfast, IMO. Oh, and minerals from the maple syrup.

Let me find my aunt's peanut butter pie recipe. I believe the filling's consistancy was close to pudding.

Oh, yes! I did just find a recipe, but I bet the pie filling will be richer! I think a texture change between the chocolate and the peanut butter might be good, too.

Hmm, believe it or not I found it! It would take some modification though.
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup confectioners sugar
Mix until it forms small round balls
Layer 1/4 inch of peanut butter mixture in bottom of single pie crust.
For vanilla pie filling
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/4 cups milk
4 Tbs corn starch
1/4 tsp salt
3 eggs yolks
1 Tbs butter
2 tsp vanilla
Combine sugar, corn starch and salt in medium sauce pan. Stir in milk slowly. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until thick. Cool 1 minute. Beat eggs yolks in small bowl. Stir in part of hot mixture. Stir all backing into pan. Cook stirring 1 more minute. Add butter and vanilla. Pour over peanut butter mix. Make merengue with 3 egg whites. To with remaining peanut butter mixure. "Brown til beautiful" (Aunt Faith's words)
It's been forever since I've made it. I wonder if there's a way to incorporate the peanut butter right into the pudding?
