Sounds like you had a nice day!!!

Let us know how the snow goes tomorrow!!

Will do. Just watched the weather report. They're thinking 3-5 for this side of the state, mostly falling tomorrow night. Which is good for those who have to commute so I guess I can't complain too much!
Saturday I'll start planning seed starting space and sorting yarn. Too many half finished projects and I think we're also going to do a yarn and pattern swap soon.

Forgot to mention that while DS will be building his Cub Scout Pinewood Derby car, DH and I will each be building our own for the adult derby the night before the kids race. I came in 7th last year with my rough version of a '63 Ford Falcon. DH came in 8th and has revenge on his mind!
DS took 1st for the whole pack and we're trying to keep him from thinking he's going to win easily again this year. We make sure he does almost all of the work himself. DH helped with a few power tools last year and will again this year. But the bulk of the work is to be done by the kids. That's why we have the adult race. We can get out our creative and competitive energy with our own cars!

Hmmmm, the sun is shining through the clouds. They keep telling us we're going to get hit with 2 storms. Yet the sun is shining. I did see 2 flakes earlier (besides the student type...) but that's it.
Off to make garden sketches....

We're out of that stage now. Years ago, DS won a prize/trophy for "coolest" car. He painted it to look like Tony Stewart's #20 Home Depot car. Come to think of it, it performed just about as poorly...

The Blue Benn is awesome. You can get any sandwich, French toast, etc. made with their gf bread. They have GF buckwheat pancakes and real maple syrup so DS was in heaven!!
I emailed customer service about the sugar bowl. They are shipping one to me for the cost of the bowl only, no shipping. Yay!!
A company that still understands the value of taking a small loss to keep a good customer happy? Wow! :p
I know, huh? Granted it was their error kind of that they missed it yesterday, but still! Merchandise made right on site, in the US. I love it!!!
The customer service lady told me she'd be shipping it on the 6th. It was delivered via FedEx to DH's hands this afternoon! I'm so haaaaappy!

Well, we're hardly snowed in here. Which is good I suppose since DH neglected to tell me we are OUT of dog food! Grrrr. Oh well. No biggie. I need BOSS too. We ended up with about 3 inches but now they're telling us to expect that much more tonight out here in the eastern part of the state. It's very pretty. Sticking to the trees. I just love it!
Today we have the annual Vicar's tea. I think I'll bring my camera just to get pictures of the kitchen. It is to die for. The vicar did all the work himself. He is very talented. DH helped him cut some of the copper. If I'm luck I'll be able to get the kitchen with the window overlooking the sheep pasture, with the sheep in view. Wish me luck!
Attacking "MT. Washmore" but need to grab a shower between loads. Finished one knitting project last night that's been sitting around for over a year. Through it in the washing machine with the jeans last night to felt it. Now it's being blocked on my kitchen counter. I have a knitted turtleneck that I need to sew on to a purchased sweater and I'll have three projects completed this week, two that have been sitting around way too long! Then I'll feel like I can start the new vest for myself that I bought yarn for last week at the year end sale at the local yarn shop. Or the cape that I bought yarn for at the store in MA that we went to on our way to VT. I rarely knit anything for myself. Why do I feel selfish when I do? Both of these are big projects. It will take some time....
Still need to choose the design for my car. We may start cutting them tomorrow afternoon.
