Snow!!! We may have gotten short shrift in Friday's storm out here in the Eastern part of the state but we made up for it last night. We got another 4 inches or so. It's absolutely beautiful out. I was out sledding down our little slope with DS for a while. The goats were so confused!! Church was a light turn out because of the surprise snow. I don't think people were expecting more than an inch or two.

Looks like we're gonna get walloped tomorrow night! Two storms are due to merge right over my house apparently. Everyone is sure we'll have a snow day Wednesday since the heaviest part is due to hit from early morning through noontime. Last I heard 18 inches was a possibility on this side of the state. If we don't lose power I'll be on the MEN garden planning website with my list of veggies making plans. I love snow, as long as I'm inside for most of it!
We're cat sitting again this week. I'll have to go over tomorrow night and make sure they're set for a few days in case I can't get there on Wednesday. They have someone who plows their driveway so I can get IN, it will be getting OUT of here and in between that will keep me home.
I expect we'll get our snow day phone call tomorrow night so I can shut off the alarm and let the dogs wake me up a little later.

We had a snow day today as well and they have already called school off for Tuesday as well. :D

The only down side is that hubby still has to go to work and he drives a LOT for his job. :/

Spent time cleaning today and took some puppy pics in the snow.

I think it is funny that the goats were confused by your sledding.

My D1 called me this morning to report that her sheep, Malcolm, was a walking snowball. Have you big snow day plans for tomorrow?

Not for tomorrow, we'll still have school. This is due to hit tomorrow night. Plans. Hmmmmm..... cleaning and more cleaning I'm afraid. Our tree is almost all undecorated but not down and out of the house yet. That might happen. I do hope to get to the yarn store tomorrow to get the long size 9 needles I need to start a vest I got yarn for. I seem to have 3 pairs of size 8s but no 9s. Why is that always the way? I called my mom to see if she had a set I could borrow. She has 2 sets of 8s and no 9s. :barnie
So, yes, plans.... playing with the online garden planner, starting a new knitting project and taking a backhoe to the mess in here! Enjoy your day off BB!

Hows the planner work?
Apparently there are several out there. I checked out the one on Mother Earth News' website. There's a 30 day free trial. You set up a grid and then can place icons of different plants where you plan to plant stuff. You can have more than one garden too. Save it, print it, change it around. Plus it has information about first and last frosts, etc. It makes a nice color picture of what hopefully your garden will look like at the height of the season!
