You're welcome! I have to say since signing up for the MEN one I've been getting tons of emails from them. Kind of annoying.

So we are home. Didn't get called 'til 5am which was silly. We all knew were going to get slammed and not be going in today. Oh well. I managed to go back to sleep for a good long time. I woke up to well over a foot of snow. It's now about 18 inches deep in the driveway and still snowing hard. Taking care of the outside animals took a bit longer than usual but we got that done and have started the first round of digging out. I've got lots to do inside and will tackle that soon, with breaks to check threads here of course!

No, as a matter of fact, I don't drive a Nissan Cube! Any guesses?

Oh, shoot, that reminds me, I have to go let Plummy out! Oh well, she has food and water and doesn't have to compete... maybe I'll leave her in a while longer.... :p

Ours are all still in, with fresh food and water of course. Daisy and Thomas came running out this morning. They've never seen snow up to their bellies and then some! They hopped around for a while then went back in for hay. Donki came out where the snow had been trampled some, did her business and went back in to be milked. Housebroken goats! Who knew!?

How much did you get Free? The reports said eastern CT was going to get the brunt of this one. I think they may have been right. And we're not done yet!

I just saw that on your journal thread. That happens here too once in a while. I've done the sliding across the deck after the dog thing too. :/ This time we had a storm from the south and one from the west hit at about the same time. Biggest snow I've seen here in quite a while! We may even have a delay tomorrow from this one. :fl

wow, just watched the news at noon to find out, more like usual, the western part of CT got more snow, some places reporting close to 3 feet!! It's not done yet here but I doubt we'll see that much.

Dh just said, "Its the winter of Valley Forge"!

We have more snow then that, but, its nearly solid ice!
We have gotten 3-4 feet of snow so far this winter, but we have had two warm ups, so all of it turned into 2 feet of solid ice :(

We are in the heavy spot for our area. We have over a foot so far, and it is still coming. It is a bit hard to tell, since it is drifting. DH is snowblowing now. The dogs still haven't been out, poor things!

I can't keep Indy IN !!! He's been 15 or 20 times since we got up! I'm about to walk him up and down the street a few times to get rid of some of that pent up Golden energy. Him and the kid..... DH is snow blowing too. Second round. Can't remember where I posted, but I measured 18 inches in one non-drifted spot and we got another inch+ after that.
Sheesh! The milkman just delivered next door! I can't believe they came out in this. We used to have milk delivered too but stopped when we got the goats. Kinda cool...
anyway, off I go to play in the snow. TG for TSC Schmidt insulated overalls. My version of snowpants!!!
