I reread what I wrote, let me clarify this one point, he contributes the same amount i do from our checks, he just makes a lot more. He pays if we go out, which is a few times a month. Dinner, movies etc. So that adds up, especially with kids. But the idea that I have to cut from the home budget to cover this urks me. He has extra disposable, I do NOT.

Uggh. And we do it this way because I learned early on that he is not good with money. He can go threw a thousand dollars in a matter of dinner, drinks and a trip to sears. He has no concept of control. When we shared an account he bounced me every other day. So now he has a card but isnt to use it unless its an emergency. Seems controling but thats how it works. I havent bounced a single check since. :ya

Oh and my prize this weekend, the transmission went in hubby's truck. :somad 1600.00 :barnie

And hubby wants to have attitude because he has to give two pay checks up for this. Cuz that leaves him no spending money. :hit :smack seriously??? I have to get up an hour earlier as do the kids to take him to work. And pick him up. I also made tons of stuff to pack his lunches. You know, not once have i even thought to complain about the extra two to three hundred a week he pockets from his paycheck. It's his pay and his call, long as the bills are paid. It a huge gapping wound in the savings department but again his call. My check goes straight to bills, I pay the mortgage, insurance on house and both cars, utilities and internet. He pays for his phone. Then gives a few hundred towards bills that he ends up borrowing back for this reason or that. :rant
Sorry I am ranting. I'm just fired up. Its your truck, your exspense, he knows he has the extra income, not me. But he is hoping that I will pay this one, cuz I pay all the bills, well nope not this time buddy. Course he has the attitude of no biggie.Cus it doesnt throw his schedule off any. I truly love this man, but he is still sometimes a bona fide MAN. :he
i'd make him start doing his own lunches :D

I have tried that, and he just buys a 12 dollar lunch. Plus the breakfast of hot tea, milk and kolache. At least another five. He goes through money like toilet paper. He's very generous with it, but he likes to say where it goes. It's not a really big deal till he acts all whiney like this time. It just irritates.
We would be much further ahead and a lot less in debt if I could get him to just do what I tell him too. LOL. But I am not his mom and I dont wanna be. We have talked about it. His call, I figure I wouldnt want a man telling me what to do with the money I earned, so I give him the respect to do with it as he sees fit. If he's ok with it, well then who am i to judge.
He doesnt say a word when I go buy gardening bulbs or chickens.

Just steams my hide though sometimes. Of course the guilt of knowing I'm only suggesting what I am is because its whats best for our family as a whole, will get me at the least some fun in the new bed. :bun

Things are back to normal. Cars are repaired. Husband is sweet self. Life is not too bad.
Even got most of my xmas shopping done.

I would like to ask a few questions if anyone might have some ideas....

My sister is an amputee, two years now. She's on blood thinner for deep vein thrombosis. She had a RBC of 2 on Friday. She had 4 blood transfusions over the weekend, which got the hospital normal reads so they sent her home. Meanwhile no idea if she is bleeding out or failing to make RBcells.

She has a colonoscopy and more tests. What would cause such?

I'm worried for her, she has a young daughter still at home and several grown kids. We need her to stick around.

Hard to say at this point.

Off hand I would ask if she has been eating.. eating well?
Is she depressed?

There is most likely something going on underneath no matter what her diet is...as this is a very low count

Let us know what happens when you get test results.

Sounds like she will need quality protien and iron to build red blood cells.. get her a good herbal for anemia like Flora makes or Nature Sunhine IX formula that I've proved many times is an excellent product for anemia in the midwifery work I did... The iron supplements that they may want to give her do not absorb well, do not build RBCs quickly and cause constipation... the herbals will also fortify her liver.

Was she on coumadin? (aka Warfarin?) look at the side effects (poisoning effects) of this drug and see if anything matches up is she was on it... maybe she was on plavix? check there too.

There are a number of alternative things that can be done these days to prevent blood clots.. time to learn about them.. one of them most powerful is pycogenol, many studies have been done on it, Also Nattokinase... If it were me thats what I would do without hesitation..... if the doctor prescribed coumadin for me.

Is she a double leg amputee?

Im really just shooting in the dark here. A good diagnosis will help... but I always suspect the drugs first.

Sister has discovered the cause of her blood loss. Fibroid tumors.
She goes Dec. first to have them removed. She has had another transufusion and will probably get another prior to surgery.

My son choked last nite on BBQ brisket. He was hungry and way overstuffed his mouth. He is well but he's not excited about BBQ as he once was.

Hubby and I are in a honeymoon phase. Big time. :bun:thumbsup
He's bringing home movies, that I like. :pop He bought me snax. He's trying to fatten me up tho. We go threw this alot. He likes a plump woman. And I mean chunky. I am a round but not like he wants. He'd have me 200 lbs if he could. He wants me to be healthy, but he likes a soft woman. I'm dieting cuz doc said that I need to drop the extra thirty and I would be much healthier. I know this. I just hate to order salad at a steak house. And there's hubby eating prime rib and dark beer. I want meat dangit. :idunno

Bought husband a beer making kit. Figured it was a good start, see if we enjoy making our own and we can add to the production line. :celebrate I can't wait to try it.

Well thats about it. Going on a 9 day vacation starting at 4 today. :weee Gonna work on turkey and yummies. Hubby may keep his fluffy wife a lil longer. I cant say no to pumpkin pie or stuffing. LOVE it. :ya

Yep, get a small steak and a salad. Otherwise you could be setting yourself up for failure.

A couple of years ago, I lost close to 25 lbs over about a year's time. And, not once did I diet. But, my hubby wanted to eat more meatless meals since he was trying to lose weight. Plus, the price of chocolate skyrocketed. I can't say this would work for you, but w/out really trying, I lost 25 lbs. And, I lost a few more a couple of years later.
