That would be David Holdereed I think they are one of the Old Religions they would not answer the phone on Sunday and the website is fairly new so I doubt he is a tech-geek.

thats just who it is... Holdereed. wow folks just love that guy.

the only thing that i laughed about is that he's pretty excitable and tended to WRITE IN ALL CAPS TO STRESS A POINT with lots of !!!!!.. hee hee hee

but an invaluable resource for sure.

This morning I noticed the ducks are fluffing up for the winter. Looking good!

Yep - posted especially for you :D I need to get a side view of one of the girls ...check back in a few minutes, the uploader is slow right now.

Here we go - they wouldn't still this morning so this was the best I got. They really are pretty.

They are cute. I may want to come down and see them some time! :D

Probably won't be able to do that until November but I think I really want to see a duck setup before I make any decisions. I'm currently reading a book about ducks. I went to TSC yesterday and they didn't have Storey's Guide but they did have Hobby Farms Ducks so I got that and I'm reading it. The messy part still scares me.

You are most welcome to come down anytime! I'm rarely away from home. I can take more photos of my little setup and post them later. I'm actually thinking a big plastic doghouse would have been better because their poo has so much water in it. I might do that for winter.

OK here it is - it's 3'x4' plus the little "porch" area which they never go onto. The cement block is to weight the hinged lid down - we had coons earlier.
You can pretty easily contain the mess they make - it all centers around their water and food. We fence them into a large corner and they are quite happy - until it rains - they like to play in the downspout water and I had to put a stop to it.
