It sounds like you are making great progress in you wedding plans. It is such a special time, be sure that you take deep breaths and remember to enjoy the whole process.....don't let your self get too stressed.

Are you going away for a honeymoon?

We are not quite sure what we are going to do for a honeymoon yet. Depends on the money situation once all this is over. To tell you the truth im not wrapped up in if I get to go away on a honeymoon or not, I cant get passed "making the wedding a success" yet, LOL. All my energy is focused on that.

Ok so today im moving the last of my eggs to the hatcher and not hatching out anymore eggs til March. AND to make sure I dont Im loaning my incubator out to my dad. This would be the first time Ive stopped hatching since August 2008 when I built my first incubator.

I went to the flea market yesterday. On sundays they sell alot of locally grown produce. I got more pickling cucumbers, red bell peppers, jalepenos and even some pineapple. I guess that means I will be making sweet pickle relish and pickled jalepenos today.

:gig I said that last year! "I'm done hatching until March" and in January this year, I was firing up the 'bator!!

I'm planning to hatch at least until October so I have chicks for the swap.....well that's the goal anyway.....my girls STOPPED LAYING so the only chicks I might have for the swap are these bantams....

Wonder who I can loan my incubator out to for the winter :/

well my incubator is not in my house its in a bathroom in a single wide trailor we use for storage thats on my property. I use that bathroom as my hatchery and where I brood chicks til they are big enough to go outside in a biddie run. Sooooo In the winter I have to heat that bathroom with a portable mini heater and its alot of trouble worrying about them and all that. Plus I dont have as many customers that want to buy chicks when its cold. Probably will set eggs middle of feb to hatch first batch middle of March. Keep in mind I have 3 broody muscovies two more that havent even gone broody yet and 1 broody hen thats setting on musc eggs. If I can just get passed the wedding I will be OK. I'm trying to reduce as many responsibilities as possible so I can do more wedding stuff.
I cant tell you how happy DF was when he heard that I was done hatching and loaning out the incubator... He thought that would never happen! LOL

Well the incubator is officially unplugged.

I have been in a knitting mood for the past month or so. I finished a pair of socks I was working on. Now my mom just has to help me with the toes.

I have also made several more homemade washcloths for my bathroom collection. So far I have about a dozen. I want to eventually make enough to have enough in both bathrooms that I dont have to use store bought any more. I think I will put a hold on that for now and start making some to go in my christmas baskets. Everyone in my family loves these, especialy my soon to be MIL. Her birthday is coming up in Nov so I gotta get hers some going to go with the scarf I made her. I will post pics for you all to see what ive been doing.

Here are my Socks I made from a modified Lion brand Pattern on #5 DPN with Italia Eyelash yarn from Yarn bee. I ran out of yarn so I made the toes with Ivory eylash- lucious from Yarn Bee..I still have to graft the toes, thats the hard part, Im waiting for mom to help me, after two years im still not good at that part.

at first these started as as just being experimental to see if I could actually maneuver this yarn into socks without too much trouble. The good thing was that it has a strand of regular worsted yarn twined with it so it was pretty easy and turned out to be nice to work with.
