Ah a new day. It looks terrible outside like its gonna come down long and hard. Better get in gear. I finally let my Game/ Cochin hen set yesterday she has been trying and trying to set and I keep gathering her eggs. So yesterday I put her in the biddie condo with about 11 eggs. She's happy now.

Been canning since 4am. Got Spegetti sauce, Salsa and Spicy Cabbage relish.

Got to make a pen for another broody OEGB..

OMG!! I HATE banks!!! All week I have been hussling to get all my decor and supplies ordered, bought, organized etc so I can get it all lined out, made etc for the wedding which is only a few weeks away. This weekend I tried to order my flowers from a wholesaler online. Well Dear Fiance's mom had decided to help with the flowers. Instead of calling and asking for our joint account info or mailing me a check she went ahead and transferred money to his old individual account which is not even at our bank where I have my account and our joint accounts. SO I figured it would not be a big deal I could just pay with his old debit card. Well thanks to the fact that DF never changed his zip code info in 2.5 yrs! But thought he did, My flowers and my money are on hold for another 7 days! Which means im 7 more days behind on receiving my flowers and being able to start on my bouquets, decor etc. One more thing to stress me out! Why O why can't anything be easy? Yesterday I was ordering Table clothes from yet another wholesaler online..When i was comparing prices and corresponding with the vendors (via email) this vendor told me that he would give me free shipping if I ordered 4 or more. Well I needed 6, which he was aware of. Then when I go to pay, he tried to charge me $24 shipping. No freaking way! So I emailed him, 3 times since yesterday to get him to fix the invoice before I would pay for it. This morning he finally sends me an email with a corrected invoice with the free shipping and says the deal was only for 4 and the shipping was for the additional two.. BUT he would give me free shipping in the name of good fellowship and eat the money. R U SERIOUS?! I politely forwarded him the email which states "I will give you free shipping if you order 4 or MORE (that part I put in bold) and advised him payment was submitted and that I just wanted to let him know I wasnt trying to get anything that he didnt promise me and that I would have orderd another vendors cloths had he not offered free shipping which made them cheeper (by a small margin but cheeper all the same). UGH, If only we had had money to afford a planner!

Today I finally ordered a new regulator valve for my pressure canner! Whoohoo! I cannot wait to can some chicken, duck and rabbit..And that wonderful Cream of mushroom soup recipe that i keep seeing. Spent the morning planting more Morning glories around my fences. I have 1 big vine of Rambling reds that took when I planted them earlier in the spring. I planted some more red, white and blue..

Day before yesterday I put 10 choc muscovie eggs under a broody game hen..Can't wait to get baby muscovies. I also hatched 3 baby Blue swedish and rouen babies from eggs I gathered before I sold my swedish. Those ducks are worth their weight in gold for the amount of eggs they produce. For some reason it is easy for me to hatch Rouens and blue swedish in my incubator but next to impossible to hatch muscovies, so far no luck. I also find it hard to hatch pheasants for some reason. But chickens and my other ducks hatch just fine. Its weird.

I am going to my MOH's house and trying on my wedding dress with my shoes, jewerly, make up, veil ect. Then we are taking it to the Alterations lady to be measured and drop off for alterations.

What a lucky day! I went to Hobby Lobby to get a rubber stamp and pad to decorate my save the dates and they were having a 50% off everything wedding and bridal! I racked up! Got flowers for Corsages, Pillow, Pen and Guestbook, Candleabra for Unity, A big Round box to decorate and make into a card box, some decorative Ivory chiffon frabric and more..Also rubber stamps were on sale for 50% off too! What luck. I have been up since 3am decorating my save the dates and stuffing and addressing envelopes! All ready to go into the mail. What work!! Thanks for Coffee! Now to go outside and tend to the critters.

I haven't really had anything exciting to post lately. Just scrambling to get wedding stuff done. I got a 7' nice metal arch from hobby lobby at the sale for $14.98! Now i just have to decorate it! LOL
I have been hatching biddies like crazy lately. I need to build another grow out pen or make something temporary. One of my game hens went broody and is borrowing one of my biddie condos. I have her setting on 11 choc musc Eggs. The other one is full of chicks that need to be moved to a bigger pen. I hope I can go to the auction soon so I can take some of the excess roos from that batch. Two of my friends have been hatching alot of muscovies under their ducks, an excess of drakes lately. Neither one of them is interested in processing or eating them so they have been giving me nearly grown drakes for me to process and fill my freezer with. SCORE! I love duck. I already processed 2 drakes last weekend, got 4 more to process soon and suppose to get some more grown ones today in exchange for some eggs. I also have 3 muscovies setting on eggs themselves. After this I wont be hatching any more this year. We are going to have an early fall and Im WAY busy with wedding stuff.
