Spent all day yesterday and last night canning pickled jalepenos, and Sweet pickle relish. I think I may have enough now to last til next year and still be able to give some away.

Been working on my pens all day so I can move some birds around to their next stages of grow out pens. Hatching my last batch of chicks today.

Somebody gave me a beautiful Doe rabbit yesterday. 1 yr old. Lop X Californian I think. The person kept her in the house and spoiled her with treats and lots of food so she is way over weight. Hopefully in a few weeks she will be regulated on her new healthy diet and be at a more healthy weight. Once that happens hopefully she can be bred. I put her in the pen with my NZ buck but he can't do nothing with it I dont think. From what i saw he can't get connection. so Ima put her in her own pen tomorrow. I will ck her in 3 weeks to see if she took. If not im going to re-expose her when she is slimmer. In the mean time she and my buck get along beautifully. I think this is the fist rabbit she has seen since she was a weanling she acts like she likes the attention.

So its another day. Suppose to be high 81 today and chance of TStorms. That would be a pretty cool day for us. Yesterday I worked on my coops and got some biddies moved around to new grow out areas. Last year someone gave me a pair of Glass House doors with black wrought iron on them. Nothing wrong with the doors. I wish I knew someone whos house they would fit on. They dont fit on ours unfortunately. Finally found a use for them yesterday. I put them up on the north side of my silkie coop and my grow out coop to block the north wind this fall and winter.

Just found out one of the guys i sometimes sell and trade poultry with is selling out everything. He has Chukars which I have been trying to find since last year and some buff and melanistic pheasants! I cant wait to go to his house. I have so much going on I might not be able to make it out there til Sunday tho :( Ill keep yall posted on what I get.

I'm the same way. If I'm watching TV I'm also reading, quilting or making notes or something else.

My DH thinks there's something wrong with me because I can never just sit and watch TV. I'm reading, making lists, knitting, whatever!

Trust me I know Exactly what you mean!

It has been a VERY busy weekend! Had a stock the bar party and birthday party for me Saturday night. Everyone had a great time! Yesterday me and my sis and fiance went to Pier Park which is a Huge new complex on Panama city beach filled with new shops, restraunts and lots of activities for the kids. They have a "Grand" Movie theatre and we went there to see "The time traveler's Wife". It was a really good movie. It has the girl from the notebook and Eric Bana (The brown headed main actor in Troy) playing the lead roles. Both of them are really talented actors.

Yesterday Our pump went out! OH NO! AND its a holiday weekend. Luckily our landlord knows a guy that will come today and fix it, give him a payment plan and not charge a holiday fee. We have not had running water since yesterday. It rained saturday night so I had enough rain water collected to water all my animals yesterday but his morning me and dear fiance are going to have to carry some 5 gallon buckets of water from the neighbors house to water them with. I hope by the time we get home our landlord will have it fixed. I have to go to the bridal shop today with my brides maides and pick up their dresses. Our local "pick and Pull" Junk yard is having a half off Labor day weekend sale so DF is going to look to see if he can find a new Tranny for our truck. It will be SO nice to get our truck running! Gotta go for now, busy busy busy!
