Well, we went to get the truck....hubby left me there he had to go to work. After about an hour, they finished. Whew! So, I left, went to the bank, gas station...AND....the service engine light came on. So, back to the shop. They fiddled with it, put it on the diagnostic machine...seems the timing was off a little. However, there was water in the oil...so did an oil change, and we have to watch it for a few days. IF there seems to be MORE water in the oil...then we have a blown head gasket. IF that's the case...we will have a pretty expensive yard ornament for a while. One that we are making payments on still! :/ Hoping to NOT see water in the oil over the next few days. The storms are rolling in, I am going to go make coffee...and relax.
We sure don't need this rain....my poor garden...the tomato plants are starting to yellow. :(

I am ready for the weekend....I am ready for the weekend....AM i ready for the weekend?? LOL Tomorrow, there will be 5 more people in the house, that are staying until Monday morning. 3 of those little people will be my grandsons from OK. :weee I can't wait to see them. I am hoping the weather co operates!
Sunday my FIL will be here as well...with BIL, and I am planning a big turkey dinner...to feed everyone. FIL will only eat white meat...and I didn't want to have to make a lot of chicken..so a turkey will do.
Oh, and I have this chicken, my late son gave me last year on his last trip home. I have NO idea what she is....other than a bantam. I was thinking a White Faced Japanese....but she doesn't look like any of the ones I see online. Any guesses?? Her name is Lucy...and she is sooo sweet!

I was hoping to be able to find her a mate...for now she is in with the Bantam Cochins.
The weather is cool...cloudy...and breezy! The house is open, but I think I need to put some socks on, im cold! LOL Oh, I am not complaining..i LOVE it!
Im off to clean the fridge, YUK.
Oh, and yesterday I made Blackberry Jelly. :p
