When are you coming to QA's house? I'd love to meet you.

I even have a spare room if you need it. :D

Here they are The First Ladies and Sam - on their last day at If It Flies Farm. Naturally, since I was trying to get pictures, no one would co-operate! :D

Tomorrow they belong to Quail_Antwerp. I have been blessed to find not only a good home for our birds on ss, but good friends in QA and E. :hugs

Hannah is such a pretty gal!

I am still in a bit of shock that The First Ladies and Sam are coming here! I told Ernie we need to build them a White House

I'm glad we found a friend in you, too. :)

Kel, I so enjoyed getting to meet you and your husband. What sweat people.

I know it was hard for you to rehome the flock. They are beautiful birds.

I told Aly if Rachel goes missing, she definitely would know where to look first. :D I sure want some Partridge Rocks now after seeing her. Thought I had some ordered a few weeks ago, but Cackle couldn't fulfill. :(

Kel, your flock is lovely! I will pray that you find a home suitable to bring them back to .....but in the mean time I am sure that Quail will take good care of them :)

We had a short but wonderful visit with QA & E and Becca! It was good to meet Becca. I especially love her license plates! :D

The move was stressful for everyone, but I was most worried about the flock.

Patsy will probably always be the first one near the door. She hasn't roosted much since she started internal egg laying. We just used to watch that she didn't sleep under the roosts.

Pat is one of our lap sitters, so she will sit on you any chance she gets. :)

The flock was probably wondering where their "good night" and "good morning" songs were!

I will comment and talk about the move later. I have some pics of the barn in the box before we put the flock inside.

Today we have already returned the uhaul, cleaned the kitchen, and are cleaning out the barn. We have someone coming in a couple hours to buy the washer and dryer. And if that doesn't sound like enough, we also have 2 places to look at today.

QA & E will take good care of the Ladies and Sam.

The farmyard is too quiet this morning....even Titan hasn't barked much.

Thanks, Dace! Yep, a real emotional roller-coaster yesterday, as you can imagine.

Lou laid her egg at QA's last evening. Hannah laid one yesterday under the tree near the front porch, probably during the ruckus of getting 15 birds into the uhaul.

I am sorry I was so worried about the stress the flock was suffering from that I didn't really get to spend as much time with QA & E and Becca as I wanted.

As it turned out, some of the best people we have met, we met here; and some we have never met in person. ;)

keljonma, at least you know your birds, will be well taken care of. But I know it is hard to have such a quiet yard. They make such a lovely noise.
Hope you find a suitable place soon. It feels restless and unsettling, just reading about your impending move to an unknown place. :hugs
