I just read that article. Sounds like a neat family. I bet sheep dairies will become more common with time.

Some of those lightning pictures are spectacular! Glad to hear your SIL is doing ok. I also had not heard about that eruption.
They were some incredible pictures, weren't they?!

Our forecast is calling for thunderstorms today, tomorrow and Saturday with temps between 70 and 90. Which imo will be a welcome change. :D

TR is working today, off Friday, working Saturday and Sunday and off Monday. Friday morning he is helping build a ramp for the Faith In Action ramp project. And Friday evening he will be helping Neil weed-whack at church.

Then this week-end is RELAY FOR LIFE, so TR is figuring out how to walk at night and still be ready for work the next morning.
No rain today except the short spell this morning. The temperature this evening is 67; the forecast says our low will be 58. :D

TR came home from work today saying someone called in sick for tomorrow, so he will have to work tomorrow. :D

But that cloud has 2 silver linings...

The 1st is that it will be OT plus additional pay for monitor duties! :clap

The 2nd is that the Faith in Action ramp project has been delayed until Monday morning, so he will still be able to participate with that.

TR was planning on getting some garden planting done tomorrow, so he did that this evening, planting some 65 day sweet corn.

I was weeding the yarrow until the mosquitos started biting.

The temperature was 56 when TR and I got up this morning. A beautiful morning for drinking coffee and having breakfast on the back porch.

Today's forecast is calling for a high of 78 and a chance of thunderstorms (30% this morning and 60% by evening); with a 60% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow.

This is RELAY FOR LIFE week-end and I'm praying the thunderstorms hold off.

The funniest thing I saw this morning was that Weatherbug changed the Heat Index back to Wind Chill.

Sister C has the day off work. We might go shopping for MOG dress today.

Have fun!

I do believe I am going up to Woolfest. I think we're doing a scope out to see if it's a show worth doing. Maybe we'll see you there.
Hopefully I don't get an itch to buy anything. I've got a couple of pounds of BFL I need to spin up and make into something.

I used to go to Woolfest every year. They offered some interesting classes. Now with living in Sullivan, it is just too far away to go anymore. Have fun at it!

Thanks for the link to the Farm & Dairy newspaper, and the info on the sheep dairy! Sound like me kind of thing (now if I could just convince the DH....) :)
