Thanks for the link to the Farm & Dairy newspaper, and the info on the sheep dairy! Sound like me kind of thing (now if I could just convince the DH....) :)
Hey, mszekely! You are very welcome.

Yesterday, sister C and I went to Erie, where we spent all day looking for a MOG dress. I found a couple I liked, but didn't buy anything. She drove, but wouldn't take gas money, so I treated her to lunch instead. It's not often that I get to spend time with C just doing fun stuff; so we made a day out of it...and had great fun!

After work, TR weed-whacked at church to help Neil and then went over to the fairgrounds to help set up the tent for his team's RELAY FOR LIFE table. He decided to sign up to walk tonight instead of last evening, to fit into his work schedule better. Everyone on the team is taking turns walking, so no one has to walk for more than a few hours. TR is at work today.

It was 60 when we woke up this morning, and is 75 now, with a heat index of 78. The breeze is blowing in the windows this morning at 10 mph....no fans needed today. :D The sun is shining brightly today. But there is a 70% chance of thunderstorms in the forecast. I'm praying they hold off until tomorrow so that the RELAY teams can complete their week-end.

I have just been doing stuff around the house; nothing exciting.

Have fun!

The weather yesterday was hot and sunny, the rain holding off until the wee hours of this morning. 62 this morning and, although the radar is clear, we are getting light rain. Weatherbug says the wind chill is 60.

The Village House of Coffee Team was raffling off a quilt made by the Eileen, Miki, and the Mary/Martha Circle. They also sold pom-poms, RELAY flags, children fun bags, beverages and food. The total raised was well over $5000 before the sales! :bow

The Ashtabula County Medical Center Team was set up across from the VHoC Team, so TR spent some time visiting with the folks over there during his break. I think he even sold a few of the RELAY flags to their team members. :)

TR is working today and I'm off to church, but I wanted to share these pictures before signing off.... Have a blessed day!

Picture of TR walking yesterday. He is wearing my hat because he remembered everything except his! :)

We got a major soaking in the evening yesterday. The wet weather stream had a ton a water and the garden is smooth as sand on a beach. The 8 inch bean plants have mud splatter on the topmost leaves.

Cool day today, everything is soaked again.

Great day! The pix are cool. One of the things I like about living here are sights like that! We should start a NE Ohio photo thread! :)

Have a great week!
I agree Farmer Jamie! Not that there aren't wonderful places everywhere, but there ARE some wonderful places in Ohio. :)

ETA: btw the goat cheese vendor at the Farmers' Market yesterday is local to you

FJ, I saw on Mackenzie Creamery's website that all the Heinen's carry their cheese. (Personally, I love Heinen's, but the nearest one to us is 40 minutes away.... :/ )

Temp here is now 57 (wind chill 55) and forecast is predicting temps are supposed to be in the mid-40s tonight. :D

The sun was shining while I was in church, but now intermittent drizzle and temperature is dropping from this morning.

It was raining lightly when I came out of church this evening. I hope it pours.

I hope you got some rain Deb...we never got anything stronger than a drizzle. And by evening, the rain had stopped. TR had to water the garden. :/

We have thunder this morning, but no rain as of yet. It is nice and cool outside and I have lots of chores I need to get done out there.

Then again ... a fairly quiet day inside doing laundry could not hurt either. ;)
