I'm glad to see Dace dancing at all!!! :hugs

I was so excited about the egg this morning.....the ducks looked like they were playing soccer, however and I was scared to death I was gonna lose my first egg! I launched myself into the duck house and grabbed for it! I can imagine what I looked like

My DD's birthday is March 20 and she is working on a butterfly quilt and matching curtains for her....I'll post pics...it sounds like it will be cute....gonna do flowers out of yo-yos with puffed up butterflies like she did the fish. Lots of pink and purple and green and yellow....very girlie!

MP-I don't know what the garden is going to be like this year, may get off to a late start. We want to do raised beds but we have to get moved first. I have tons of seeds leftover from last year so I will be doing a lot of the same as last year....I hope to plant some apple trees and I would love to get some blueberries and blackberries....I think I will try some new lettuces and some different beans as well....lots more peppers and cukes and maters!

Friday 3-5

I got another duck egg this morning!!! So happy!!!

I have a friend that just found out her little girl is allergic to chicken eggs and I was wondering if she could eat duck eggs? Anybody know?

I am arming myself for TSC today.....lord help me if they have chicks....last time they had bunnies when we went in and I almost succumbed to the cuteness of a little male, solid black with brown hair on the tips of his feet.

Went to the pet store yesterday and came home with a bag full of crickets and a 1 gallon aquarium and 2 guppies......can we say SUCKER? My kids spent $20 for the fish and the setup but they went in together and they spent $10 each of their xmas money from Papaw. Otherwise they would have stayed at the store. They miss Hammy since he died and I figured 2 guppies are a heck of a lot easier to deal with than a stinky hamster. Their money.....

Tyler was so cute....last night he asked me if we could eat the guppies when they got bigger?!? That's my boy!!! I had to disappoint him though and tell him that no, that was about as big as they were gonna get and I didn't think they would be much of a meal.

LOL. Good to know he is aware of where his food comes from LOL.

That's cool about your duck eggs! Do they really taste different?

I pulled out some of my seeds from last year and it felt like I was running my fingers through gold touching them all LOL

I am finally getting duck eggs too!! I wasn't sure at first b/c I have mostly BRs but some other hens that lay pale eggs, but yesterday I deifinitely found out my ducks are laying. I haven't eaten one yet either,as I have to finish up my purchased eggs. Tomorrow will be the day that I get to try them!!
