Thin mints....( insert Homer Simpson sound) LOL
I was at the dollar store the other day...and they have cookies there, can't remember the brand...but they are "mock" girlscout cookies. I just LOVE the caramel coconut thingies. We dont get girl scouts out this way...and I am rarely in town to catch them at the local Wally World....so I settled for the off brand. Not too bad. Better than nuttin, I guess. LOL
Sounds like you had a WONDERFULLY productive day. Even had time to jump on the trampoline?? I quit doing that years ago. Once I turned 40, I realised.... my butt doesnt belong OVER my head! LOL
I'm recovering today....we had a ridiculously productive day yesterday and I even got a sunburn!
I had to trim all the bushes in the front flower beds (by hand with a pair of scissors) and get everything in the compost pile. When I went to turn over everything I got a little too deep and unearthed the most massive pile of earthworms I've ever seen! The kids were soooooo excited! My daughter kept saying "Come look Daddy, there's BIG FAT JUICY ONES!!!"
She was more excited than my son.....he was too busy playing with the dogs. They collapsed at 4 o'clock and we had to wake them up for dinner
We dismantled part of the lean-to on the shed, the roof angle was too low and it was leaking as a result. It looks much better now and we cleaned up all the broken toys and trash in the yard...the wind did a number on our trash cans and got stuff all over the place.
Finished the road work and used the tractor to help move some trees that we cut and couldn't move. Hung 3 loads of laundry on the line yesterday and 2 more out there today....cleaned up the dog run and under the front porch (my children like to throw stuff under there) and possibly found a home for Charlie, our yellow lab golden retriever mix. He is a wonderful dog but he has started to fight with Tonka. Tonka is older and if anyone goes it will be Charlie. Our neighbors down the road just lost their 14 yr old jack russell and they want a bigger dog to help watch the property so it is a good situation. They came down yesterday and visited with him and said they would think about it.
Also cleaned out the lizard tank, yuck, and the frog aquarium
I rearranged their setups and they seemed confused but happier now that everything was clean.
Oh, I almost forgot....my wonderful husband decided to encourage my daughter to play in the mud yesterday.....he got out the hose and made some wonderful sticky mud for her.....here's the result!
I love my baby.....we had to let her soak for a looooooooong time last night....she decided to eventually paint herself with the mud
Oh, and I almost forgot! Saturday night we went to my BF's house and her in-laws were there....Her FIL is gonna hook us up with meat rabbits!!! 2 does and a buck as soon as we can get set up after the move!!! He also has quail and we may get some more as soon as we process the 7 we've got now and see how they taste But that means I will need to get an incubator.....muhahahahahahahaha
Today is Chad's birthday! We are also getting our perk test done this morning!!! This means we can get started on the property stuff....first on the agenda is the driveway! Then the well and septic, and then we can move the house!!!
