Boys! :th

At least he is mostly alright and hopefully a "tiny bit" wiser for the wear.

Hang in there mom, only about 35 more years of this stuff and you will be done. ;)

I am assuming the table was safety glass but still be careful. My son fell through a patio table last summer. Both knees caught the inside edge. With all those little chunks of glass his knees looked like they went over a cheese grater.

My point is he had glass pop out for several days afterwards. I think there is still a piece working its way out on one side.

Boys, ugggg I think they were put on earth to test their Mamma's.

I hope he feels better.

I don't know about the safety glass....it was that kind of wavy looking heavy glass that was about a thousand years old. This table has been in the family for as long as hubby can remember. It is wrought iron and the glass just sat inside the ledge on the table top.

He seems to be fine now, we made a cake. I put the recipe on the kitchen section. :D

I'm sure this will be the first of many heart attacks he causes me.... :love

Having survived raising two mischevious boys I can say with some assuredness that you will survive, (even if they don't :/ )

The worst was when I got a call in the middle of the night, Son number two had snuck out of the house to go skake boarding under the full moon. first words out of his mouth as I was tryin to rouse from the stupor of sleep was MOM the bone in my nose is hanging out!.... his skate board had flown in the air and smacked him.

He was also the one who fell 20 feet from a tree and landed flat on his back fracturing a couple of verebra.. Scared the begeebers out of me, but all turned out well after 10 hours in the hospital.

All I can say is try to teach them well then pray like hell and you will get through.

Wednesday

Well, after a blissfully cloudy day yesterday the sun is out in full force again today. So, after patching the crack in the kid's pool with some Locktite all weather heavy duty glue (which I highly recommend, btw) I filled it up this morning along with the duck pond so that it could warm up a bit by this afternoon.

I got all the duck babies to go in the hutch last night on their own!!! Took a little coaxing and some creative barriers but they all went in. No more duck wrestling!!!

I also went through the freezer yesterday afternoon and cooked up 6 bags of chicken that had partially thawed and 4 bags of ground deer meat as well. I refroze everything after cooking so it should be okay. Everything under that appears to be alright.

A friend of ours is supposed to come over tonight to help us start on the lean tos for the shed!!! I'm so happy to get this started. After sending pictures of the boat to the lady that was interested she emailed me back and said she definitely wants it. :celebrate

I started a little schoolwork yesterday to sort of break the kids back into it. Target had a little practice clock and weather dial in the dollar bin as well as some counting blocks so I picked those up the other day and Tyler is already doing well with telling time to the hour on it.

I'm trying to sprinkle in school related stuff throughout the day so that the kids don't get so mired down in it and feel like they're being tortured. My kids seem to do better with it in the afternoons anyway.

Well, gonna finish my coffee and see if I can go through some of the stuff in the shed. :tongue
