Wonderful pics. I sure do miss those days. It was a lot of work but so much fun to watch the kids in all the little plays they did.
I live to far from my grands to get to go to anything they do and my DS and DIL just don't take pics. I fuss at them all the time.
OH well, like TV times change.
Family programs on TV so many times turn out not to be really family programing. My grandson was watching something on tv this past weekend, I was in the kitchen cleaning up and watching/listening and enjoying when all of a sudden out of know where the cursing came across. And I don't mean a few little darns or shoots. I mean things that made ME blush. DD and I looked at each other and she jumped up and grabed the remote to find something else. DGS wanted to know what was going on, "I was watching that". Apparently he never even noticed the words.
At 12 he is already immune. Terrible isn't it.

Friday

Well, did some shopping yesterday and got some really cute toys for the kids' friends for xmas. I have to go to Sam's club today to stock up on dog and cat food. At least all my animals will be fed for a while.

Just found out that my little brother is going to the Bahamas for Christmas. He got everybody gift cards and is sending them to my house for me to distribute. It figures that we get to slosh around in the muck here and he's gonna be on a beach all warm and cozy.

I miss him, he lives in Atlanta and I only get to see him once or twice a year. We're really close in age and so we were practically inseparable growing up. He told me yesterday that we just need to move to Ga and that he has a room for me and Chad and one for the kids and that we could stay there rent free until we found a place. He said that we could probably bring the rabbits but they frown upon chickens in the city! Too funny...he misses us too.

Hopefully we can get the car back today...a 2 day repair turned into a week, go figure...

Going to try to take the kids to see Santa tomorrow, hopefully they won't freak out!

Well, gotta get moving...I'll try to post a pic of Maddie's trash can escapade later...it really was cute!

Lori,

I wish you would mend the pants in your country girl ringtones ad.

I have let Nifty know about it. Expect a PM from him telling you to clean up your act.

Well, we went to see Santa this morning.....uuugggghhhh.
Both my kids flipped out. Our picture has Ty on my lap next to Santa, crying, and Maddie on Chad's lap screaming bloody murder and pulling a fistful of hair in protest. Fun stuff.

Got our christmas lights put up today and Chad spent an hour outside WITH PNEUMONIA hanging up lights on the fences. Idiot.

When he came in we put up our tree and let the kids decorate the low parts so all the ornaments are on one side of the tree! It's still adorable.

I only have one more present to wrap and I will be up bright and early to meet the delivery truck at walmart to try to get my son a John Deere Gator ride on toy. That's all he's getting from us. My daughter's playhouse is coming Tuesday and just needs to be powerwashed. We went to see it today but it was so muddy that we have to come back for it with the trailer. Everyone else is done! Ha ha ha, Karen! Knew I'd catch up with you! ;)

Well, I talked about Maddie getting stuck in the trash can earlier and here's the pictures to prove it! Try not to laugh too hard, she's my baby!

As you can see it didn't seem to bother her too much!

Lori,

The ad that was showing up for you thread was an ad for Country Girl Ringtones. The picture in the ad was a derriere wearing a pair of well ventilated shorts.

Monday

Chad went back to work today...we got Tyler's gator yesterday and got it put together during naptime. Chad just about lost his religion over it...

We're going to pick up Maddie's playhouse tomorrow and take it to the car wash to clean it.

The sun is finally out today and I think I might hang out some laundry on the line....if I don't have to take Tyler to the doctor. He has been coughing a little and is laying around a lot but other than that he has no real symptoms...I know they will just tell me to watch him and bring him back when he gets bad enough to give him some medicine and the pediatrician is almost an hour away.

Going to try to make some laundry detergent today...we'll see how it works.

Finished wrapping the last of the presents last night...made Chad's grandma a photo album with captions for each picture. She has alzheimers and seems to be doing okay but we figured she would like that. I included pics of the kids from the last 3 years. She lives in a nursing home and we'll probably go see her after Christmas when things calm down a bit.

Well, got to get movin' !

I went to Tractor Supply yesterday and bought a giant stuffed horse for Nicole to ride....kinda like one of the kiddie chairs for the floor----it was 60% off. I think they marked it wrong...was $44--got it for like $18 or something. The giant doggie ones were $79....hmm...I don't know but I snatched it up for that price!!!!!

Sure not wrapping it..HA HA HA

let us know how your soap adventures goes for you. I like powder detergent. I don't like storing liquid detergent...but liquid is so much more disolvable thing than powder, but powder for me..LOL
