That's me. I love my breads! I haven't managed a day below 60 carbs (according to FitDays numbers) but I am getting closer and closer to it. I still haven't found where to add ingredients for a recipe and get a nutritional estimate. I joined SparkPeople, but couldn't find it. I have to just guess on dinners.

Bread is my downfall...along with licorice.

Just when I decide to go hard core low-carb a beautiful, cranberry swirl bread shows up in the photo of the week! :p Doesn't it look yummy?

That reminds me does anyone know about how many carbs there would be in a single slice of home-made sourdough bread?
That is why I like to keep it simple and go by servings, and eat only "good" carbs. One slice of bread=one serving, two servings a day for weight loss on average for a woman, four a day for a man.

Good carbs: Whole grain bread slice, 1/2 c ww pasta, beans, lentils, yam, sweet tater, hummus, oatmeal (not the packets, the "just oats" kind), peas, etc. Keep grains to a minimum....for weight loss. Whole foods to avoid for weight loss: Potatoes, corn of any kind, honey, maple syrup, agave, etc. Not forever, just for weight loss.

Farmer, you got me with "I love drippy oozey delish garlic butter on shrimp.....beats bread anyday..LOL" :drool
I have to admit, I would take that over a slice of any kind of bread at all. Although the fresh baked sundried tomato sourdough bread at the local bakery is out of this world.

when I went down the scale with corn I only ate fresh good corn on the cob. everything else was out if I wanted to lose weight.

Too stuffed form the 1 pound bag of veggies I forced down between 2-2:30 yesterday afternoon. New habit, lesson learned....give your self a couple hours to eat a pound of raw veggies. :/
