Yes well let's just say there was a little stress on the tummy yesterday! ;)

A 1/2 c serving x 4 is about 2 lbs. I can pack in 3/4lb for breakfast in my shake, then another 1 pound between lunch /snack and that leaves just a little for dinner....that works out well because by dinner I am a little burnt out on eating and prepping veggies.
But I am finding that it is keeping me so full that I have no desire to eat the carbs that I am trying to avoid ( need to drop about #5)

You should drop that in no time at all! I find that prepping veggies AFTER supper works best for me. Prep for the next day, that is. Then I don't run out of time when the phone keeps ringing or I come onto this forum and lose track of time! :p

oh yes if I am chopping or dicing or cutting any veggies for a big salad that day, I always cut more for my next day salad. It gets me at least a day ahead in the salad dept..lol

Hubby asked this morning, "are you SURE we can lose weight eating like this?" I told him I haven't lost anything yet, but ya'll swear up and down it help us drop some poundage.

This am was scrambled eggs with b. pepper, onion and cheddar.

I did tell him we aren't eating enough veggies, so we'll have to up the veggie intake. I think he may be coming around :fl

Okie, try weighing out your veggies....I was quite surprised and the sheer volume of what should be eaten. I am so full all day that the idea of eating bread/crackers/etc has not even entered my mind. It really removes the whole will power issue.....this is a no will power needed lifestyle!

Right up my alley!!

first, I'm gonna go broke with all these veggies three people have eat in a day. we're out of season so I have to buy everything.

second, I'm doing good to just get my family to veggies at all. We are from the "if it ain't deep fried and covered in gravy, it ain't good" mindset.

I'm thinking of doing a eggplant covered in mozz cheese and spagh sauce with a big salad.

We've got left over roast, buy my eggplant is getting a bit aged.
