I drink tequila with diet soda and a big twist of lime.

GOOD tequila!

100% agave. NO carbs.

:D

Another option is Sky vodka (lemon flavor) with diet soda and a twist of lemon.

I don't like diet soda!

I wonder if Free could help me make over my favorite margarita?!

Wine 110 carbs per glass???!!! Light beer 96 carbs? :hit
Those were calories my dear! My coors light is 102 and both your wine and my CL have 5 carbs per serving
Thank the LORD I read that wrong!!! :D I almost went into deep dark depression. Whew!

I love tequila Dace. For the longest time I did a few tequila shots on the weekend when I moved up here b/c it is really hard to find a good margarita around here (and margaritas have too much sugar for me). Patron silver, sea salt and a lime wedge :drool. A mini margarita in your mouth. :p

Fresca and vodka = Russian Margarita :p I love those until I realized Fresca (only my favorite drink in the world) had aspartame in it. :hit

ETA: Tequila shots, they are not just for college students anymore! :p

I have a great recipe that I love but my recipe book is suddenly missing!

I hate pre-made margy mix, so mine uses simple syrup, and freshly squeezed orange and lime juices. I mix together equal parts kosher salt & sugar and toss in a tablespoon or so for grated lemon & lime for rimming the glasses....sooooo good!

Just replace the sugar and simple syrup with lots of liquid stevia extract. Taste it now and then. It will not likely be as sweet as you are used to, but you will get a buzz and forget about the sugar! ;) I'm having my lime vodka collins right now!

welp, that's it girls.
I'm back to Weight Watchers.

I actually GAINED about 2 pounds since I started this low carb thing. maybe I have to have strict rules. Maybe I can't do the whole "eat until your body tells you to stop" thing. My body never tells me to stop (of course I don't hear it thru all the munching)

I'm so ready to drop some poundage.

It looks like this new plan has lots of low carb stuff tho'

maybe it's all in my mind

Okie

WW worked for you. You go into that WW plan full speed ahead.

remember one thing, learn.....learn this time on how to eat correctly for LIFE. remember that your WW is not a diet, it is a lifestyle change on eating correct portions that fit your body!!!

You go girl!!!

You will find that good eating pattern for you again!!!

I lost 70 lbs doing LA Weight Loss....which is very close to your WW.
I eat everything, with staying mostly away from those nasty carbs like white bread and all that. I love flatout breads and such.
I lost the weight very easy, eating what I love and still am maintaining. So it sure can be done..LOL--I did it and you will lose that weight again and be fine also. You want to eat healthier and know the reasons for that change, so when you hit goal you will have a healthier menu on your mind for life.

Okie, do whatever works for you!

Perhaps before you spend the money though, you could journal what you are eating here for us to see, it could be that a couple of simple changes could save you the money on WW. How many fruits & veggies are you eating each day?

I have never done such an easy switch up of my diet routine and see such great results. I am looking better and I am feeling terrific....and the best part is that I do not fee like I am missing out on anything, no feeling of deprivation at all!

Edited to add that what is working for me is not a 'low/no carb' mindset. It is a 10 fruits & veggies a day program. I just find that I have no room or desire for other stuff, like bread, cookies etc.
