...and that I/she is unemployed and drawing unemployment. And they want paper work proving all of this.

Dh was politely spitting nails at them on the phone over what they are trying to do, and they are still clueless.

I do not work. My name is not at all like my mothers.
I am not drawing unemplyment.
Also, my mother does not work, not is she drawing unemployment.
We live 5,000 miles apart, so even the states do not match.

We have a Rural Development mortgage. It is an awesome mortage, cause 80% of it is at 1% interest.
We just have to verify income and tax stuff to them every 6 months.
Its supposed to be every 12 months, so we are fightling that as well.
Talk about being buried under paperwork!

What a pain!! I hate this kind of mindless bull doodoo. It's like people cannot think for themselves anymore. They look at a computer and whatever they see on that screen is their truth!

In order for me to use a low income clinic, I have to prove I have no income! When you have no income, you do not get a paycheck, you do not have to file income taxes, how do you "prove" you have no income! I could bring my bank statement I suppose.

When my MIL died, the credit company canceled SIL's cards. But at least she had the same name, although certainly not the same birth date!

I hope ya'll haven't been the victim of identity theft...you know, someone drawing UIB under your/her SSN...I have a case I'm working on right now where an illegal is drawing UIB under the SSN of a 14 year old boy, & employment records show he's been working since 2007 (so, since age 11)...you'd think that would raise someone's eyebrows at the ESC office, huh?

Oh no. This is ongoing. They ran a credit check on my mother at the beginning of all this, then did me. THen along the way, they forgot about me.

Mortgages are always a pain. Sorry you are having issues, and I have no advice unfortunately. I have never even heard of something like this. How annoying :/
