So wait, if your Mother is married to your DH, does that means he's in actuality your father or step father?

Sounds like a real pain. At times, we get bills, etc for my DH's cousin. But, they have the same name and live in the same area. Hope you get it straightened out.

Well, if your husband is married to your mother, living with you "as husband and wife" then he is guilty of incest, will go to prison when they find that out and then you will have no one to pay your mortgage. Sounds bad to me.

Of course, Ray Stevens has a song "I'm my own grandpa" You may have the makings of your own song; the royalties of which should pay your mortgage and get those cretins off your back!

Since they want paperwork, here's what I would do.

Write a letter clarifying the actual Marital status. Who is married to whom and the addresses. Include information on your lack of income. Have it notarized & take it to them.

Do this once a week until they fix the stupid mistake! Be the squeaky wheel

Its a good idea, but its hard to squeak when the company is based about 7,000 miles from here.
We could certainly fax it in every day if need be

Actually, if they are based elsewhere, I'd send it certified mail. That way you have proof that it was sent. Repeatedly

Fax it hourly every day for about 2 weeks. They'll get the message sooner or later depending on the rate of decline in their IQ.

You need a copy of your birth and marriage certificates. Show them whos who. Sometimes people are just so dense.

I am married to RDH III My son is RDH IV, fil is RDH Jr. When we applied for a mortgage they said we had one, then proceeded to tell us it was from one year prior to my dh birth. Uhh I don't think that's ours. We have lots of problems like this.

Just keep trying.
