BBH- hope you aren't sore today!:D
Delia - hope the storms stay far away. Looks like Bill is picking up steam, yikes!

Yesterday I worked all day gardening and canning and topped off the evening with an hour of T-Tapp stretching for my aching back.
Today might be an off day, but will do a short workout if need to work some aches and pains out. I also fast on Mondays.

Java, how long is a typical T-Tapp workout?

(I'm not as sore as I thought I would be, I can actually walk! Sort of. :/ I'm going to take my daughter for a nice strole around the farmer's market to keep myself moving a bit. I am skipping my workout today though to give my body a rest.

I think my new shoes did help, my arches and heels are not as sore as they have been in the previous mornings. :clap

Quick answer: 15 minutes a few times a week to every day if you want. But, wait, you can also do more!

In depth answer:
T-Tapp starts with Instructional tapes divides into 2 parts. You must start with these in order to learn the proper movements and stances. Part one of the instructionals is about 18 minutes long I think. Once you get comfortable with that, you do Basic+ which is just Instructional 1 without so much verbal instruction. It is 15 minutes. Then you can move on to Instructional 2, which is a killer and you should take your time learning. The DVD's are at good prices, there are different specials and packages that run on the website, and on the third Tuesday (tomorrow!) they always run a surprise deep discount on a product. Also, if you buy the book, Fit and Fabulous in 15 Minutes, there is a 30% off discount coupon that you can use on any future purchase - no matter how big- all you have to do is fax or mail it to the office so they can verify it. The book is great and has alot of Teresa Tapp's story and background.
There are also workouts created for different situations - The one called More is for people who have: more years, more weight to lose, more injuries to rehab, etc.

I recommend you check the website and then you can blast me with any questions you have.

Teresa Tapp is a genius in the health and fitness world. I have come to learn that if she says it or sells, you can believe in it. She is a research fanatic and knows what is good. This is the best rehabilitative, do it all workout I have ever seen.

I am going to be brief b/c I am so tired. I attempted that 9 mile mt. hike this afternoon with a different friend, one that hasn't been there...I've only been there once.

We made it up to the top, again for me it wasn't pretty, but I made it. That was approx. 4 1/2 miles walking at an incline, kay. :th

We saw as sign that said the gate closes at 6 sharp. OMG we didn't want the car locked in for the night, so we decided to take the road back to the parking lot thinking it was shorter.

It wasn't, it was almost twice as long and we didn't end up at the parking lot, we don't even know where we ended up....walking walking....are we going the right direction to get to the parking lot? (And it is starting to get darker.)

OMG turns out we end up on a main road no where near the trail head parking lot.

walking....walking (not even sure we are going the right direction!)

Finally, after 3 and 1/2 hours after we began the hike, (I am not even kidding) we flag down a fella in a truck and beg him for directions and then a ride to the trail head...which was still another 2 miles away. We would have never made it.

We were so tired that we took our chances with a stranger. :p

I'm going to bed, NIGHT y'all! :th

Walked a brisk 4 mile walk. I was so not in the mood until 30 min into it..then things sorta turned around. I think I am still beat from yesterday's ordeal.

Don't overdo it, BBH. Your body needs to recover between exercise sessions, especially if you are increasing the intensity. Hardcore athletic types tend to do aerobic workouts every other day and resistance training every other day (the days they are not doing aerobic workouts). A nice 3 mile walk every day is fine, but if you are doing longer walks, you might consider doing them every other day.
