Listen to your body! The mind has a way of guilting you into doing more than your body can take some times. At least, that has been my experience. There is some weird dynamic that goes on between exercise and guilt. :/ Perhaps it is because we get mentally addicted to the exercise (the endorphins) and our mind likes to trick us into thinking it is ALL good? ;)

 What hole?! I find this funny b/c I'm working on my own hole. It is going to be a little duck pond when I'm done, but for now I just refer to it as the "hole". When I'm feeling especially nostalgic I will call it the "mud hole".

Digging is hard work!

This is the first time in my life that my own endorphins ever wanted anything to do with me!!

Oh, I am WAAAAAY too innocent for that....only not so much.

"The Hole" is a 20 year old pile of lawn clippings that got throw on top of a circle of black plastic. I have to remove the plastic before I rototill the back 40 the first time, so I am digging out the pile. It's about 15' across and about 2 1/2 feet high. And even though it WAS lawn clippings, it is now some of the most beautiful soil I have ever seen. Need to test the pH, but it is dark and rich and not packed at all, very easy to get a shovel in, but not particularly lightweight! I started last night, worked some more this morning, and then it got hot. Probably half way down. I can find plastic around the edges, but so far none in the middle. A ways to go....
