Did an hour in the rain (in two sessions) with the dogs....the new boy is a husky in a cockerpoo body! That pooch needs to pull a sled! We have some training to do, and fast! I am beyond pooped, but thankfully, so are the dogs, so my house is peaceful tonight. Maybe I will even be allowed to sleep later......

I loved my "gentle leader" dog "halter". Our rescued, adult Saint was 100 lbs of naughty-ness until I put it on her. That gentle leader worked like a charm!
When are we going to see photos?

I got in a 3-mile walk today, then probably another mile or 2 following my daughter around pumpkin land all afternoon for her fieldtrip

Almost Self-Reliant
I put up electric fencing all day and hauled gates around in anticipation for this beautiful girl to be trailered to our farm. I bought her on Saturday and she is to be trailered on Friday. She's a 15.2hh Friesan/QH (probably more in there, but those two are the knowns), 4 years old, green broke western.
