All the standing, walking, pulling brush and everything else have caught up with me. My plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon calcification, and diabetic peripheral neuropathy are having a field day! I can hardly walk from the computer to the stove to turn off the canner. I hate this, I have things to do.

Walked the beaches of the "World's Longest Beach"...all I know is that each of the three walks (Sunday-Monday) took me 1 hour to finish...and that was in the sand! :th

It was the most beautiful weekend trip I ever had in my whole life. Short but sweet!

But BBH, today was a beautiful day for a walk!

Hubby had the day off, we looked out the window, discussed all the farm things we should do and decided to spend the day in the truck running errands!
I did get a good work out "climbing" in and out of the truck and "running" for shelter from the down pours!

I'm back to exercise!! Yippee, skippee! I have never since 10th grade gone so long without real, actual exercise. This summer got way too busy, and although I was active biking to get asparagus, hiking to pick blackberries and intensively gardening, it was not exercise for the sheer joy of it.

Most mornings, as soon as the kiddos hop on the bus, I have been taking off for a 3-mile walk. There's still a lot to be done with harvesting and putting up food, so this winter I will definitely have time for more. It just feels good to move just for the sheer joy of moving. Plus, the fall color in the bluffs around me is stunning.

Friday went for my usual 4 mile brisk walk.

Sunday went for another brisk walk with friends in the forest.

(Getting a used tredmil this week, can't wait! So nice to have friends with money and short attention spans!!)

Walked to a few stores to buy things to fix sink and make laundry soap. I love walking in nice Fall weather. That was about 3.5 miles round trip.

4 mile brisk walk on very hilly streats yesterday. That pavement is rough on your feet when you are used to forest trails! :/

I moved my butt from the soap room to the laundry line.
To dusting then to vacuuming
to feeding critters to feeding family. Heck I never stop..:p

I don't know....LOL

I walk pasture line to check fences, walk into the woods to check.....hmm...need some "fun walking" LOL
