MOVE!! What did you do to workout today?

I'm embarrased to say I didn't workout yesterday b/c it was 90 degrees outside and we don't have A.C. so I just swam at the lake for 2 1/2 hours. This heat is really bumming me out!!

I know, what is the big deal about 90 degrees? Well I hate it and it really is no fun when you can't get any relief at home or anywhere else. (Nobody has A.C here!)

Yesterday after I got off work, DH & I wrestled railroad ties and raked & piled grass & cardboard for two raised beds. Took about an hour total to get them built. The ties were in the front yard, formerly serving as bridges across our moat. So we had to drag, heave & roll them about 300' to get them where we wanted the beds. He got the easy part, he rode the lawnmower while I raked.

When we moved her last October I fenced and cross fenced, dug up my garden moved logs etc. I got soo skinny my pants were falling off by Christmas! Yard and farm work is the best work out and you accomplish real goals too.

I hate heat, too. That's one reason why I head to the woods and creeks for my hikes. It is 10 degrees cooler down there and shady.

Today, went over the hill to the back side of the property and moved 5 fence posts end over end up the hill.

Now that was work!

Ended up at the YMCA for my workout, it was too hot for anything else. Just walked 30 min.

Did get a 1 1/2 hour swim in.

Ahhh come on BBH!
It was a beautiful day too.........MELT!
I hear tomorrow is going to be even hotter?
I got a good work out today! I would step out into the heat and be in such a hurry to get back to the A/C, I would forget half the things I went out for and just have to turn around and go back out!

I cut tree limbs today with a hand saw, does that count? Oh, and raising my arms to hang the laundry out was just exhausting!!!
