WOW! That stinks so bad! Glad the critters are ok. Guess that means the chicken pen you were concerned about survived!

Hope your generator gets good "gas mileage!"

So sorry you're having to deal with this...ugh!

Yep chicken pen is good. Parts of NH got 6 inches of rain. I don't know how much we got, but it's a lot!

Power company says it needs 24-48 hours to "assess damage"... Uhhh so how the heck long will it be before they actually start fixing stuff?

I have a really awful power company. The one that comes in on the other side of town never goes out.

DH is headed to get more gas. Hope the gas station is open! They have the other power company so they should be.

My power company peaked at 52,000 outages, now down to 47,000. They're working on getting power to substations now.

I am very happy we bought this generator last year. It doesn't power the whole house but we can run the essentials, and DH is going to work on getting the water going when he gets back from the store.

Unfortunately he doesn't handle stress well so he's a supremely unpleasant person to be around today. Ugh.

Downtown is flooded, main road closed. Part of our road is washed out. Can't get the water pump to work yet but the freezers and fridge are plugged in and kitchen and living room are powered. No damage here but our canoe flew across the yard lol. And poor piggie's pen is super muddy. I had to clean out the hay feeder and put in fresh hay, it was soaked. Otherwise everyone is fairly happy. Goats are gonna need some dewormer with this rain!

Sort of? We had high wind warnings but not to the extent it ended up being. And they said 1-3 inches of rain. We got a lot more than that. 5 at least?

We don't have hot water but we have water now to flush toilets and use the sink. And now we wait!
